[Vicinity] Eeod: Rumour nr 2. The robbery of the six crates of "Yuttos energy drink" was staged to draw attention to RUR and the "Yuttos energy drink".

[Vicinity] Eeod: Again not true. The "Yuttos energy drink"-heist was not staged. Me and Stanislav faced a gang of bloodthirsty thugs, and we barely got out alive.

[Vicinity] Virta: Hm. Yes.

[Vicinity] Virta: Good evening everyone.
[Vicinity] Virta: Firstly I should just mention that recently I have been taking care of my sister who is ill, at the hospital.
[Vicinity] Lasliana: watches virta
[Vicinity] Virta: I did made some improvements to reduce the down-time of the Omni-Med staff, with proposals like keeping track of the break-time, loo-breaks and things like that, incoming and outgoing time monitoring system and designed a system of punchclocks for that. It is being delivered to the management as we speak. It will be valuable in the efficiency of the hospital.
[Vicinity] Virta: However, that is not my topic today.
[Vicinity] Virta: I was instructed to spend some time outside from the hospital and dug up my old study of the 'The social dynamics of Omni-Ent cleaning bots'.
[Vicinity] Virta: I had neglected them recently and was actually eager to see how they were doing.
[Vicinity] Virta: I soon made contact with Lisa, whom I am sure you all remember from my study four years ago?
[Vicinity] Virta: smiles and looks at the audience.
[Vicinity] Virta: This little robotic creature was my first point of contact with their society, which I shall call Brutii, when I last spent some time with them.
[Vicinity] Virta: This time she was being followed by three new and shiny cleaning robots. She was gently nudging them along, sometimes giving out a sharp 'pop' sound if one of them was venturing too far from her.
[Vicinity] Virta: She had become a mom.
[Vicinity] Virta: smiles happily.
[Vicinity] Ukblizzard: awwws
[Vicinity] Virta: Lisa took me again to see Brutus. This formidable robot was still being the leader, although one wheel had come off and it was a bit hard for him to move.
[Vicinity] Virta: He made a pretend charge at me, like old times, but I think it was more of a greeting than an act of hostility.
[Vicinity] Virta: They have a good memory.
[Vicinity] Stanislaw: nods
[Vicinity] Virta: What I discovered next, was something that had been hidden from us until this day I believe.
[Vicinity] Virta: draws breath.
[Vicinity] Virta: These robots are migratory! When the evening came, they all assembled into a line and began moving away from the Bronto Burger stand.
[Vicinity] Virta: I spent 2 months living among them, learning more and more about their migration cycle and society.
[Vicinity] Virta: The first 2 weeks are spent near the Ent-BB stand, from which they move on to the Mongol Meat. The journey takes roughly their whole day, and is often treacherous.
[Vicinity] Virta: Due to the traffic.
[Vicinity] Virta: When we were moving again from Mongol Meat, I took a quick look at the sewer area when we were passing but they seem a bit hesitant to go there, and when I stepped closer to the place, it was as if they were trying to prevent me from going further.
[Vicinity] Virta: I took this as a sign of them accepting me to their society and was a sign of protection. Obviously they were terrified of that area.
[Vicinity] Virta: We were heading to Baboons and Rompa. In both places we spend roughly a week. Then it is back to Bronto Burger.
[Vicinity] Virta: There is much we can learn from them.
[Vicinity] Virta: I believe the migration discovery is groundbreaking!
[Vicinity] Lasliana: continures watching virta
[Vicinity] Virta: Future work will probably involve taking a linguist with me for the next trip. I have rudimentary grasp of their language, consisting of whirrs and clicking sounds, after this experience and would like to learn and study it more.

[Vicinity] Gimpeline: The robot becam a mom, how did they.. I mean, how is the robotic.. ritual

[Vicinity] Dabblez: My topic today is "The mathematical proof of existence of Rimor".

[Vicinity] Dabblez: But first, what do I mean by Rimor?
[Vicinity] Agrestus: raises his eyebrow.
[Vicinity] Dabblez: Rimor, in this context is the name of a hypothetical mirror universe,
[Vicinity] Dabblez: a parallel dimension beyond the Shadowlands where everything is identical to how it is in our universe, only evil.
[Vicinity] Eeod: the existence of rumour?
[Vicinity] Dabblez: But why the interest in Rimor? Why not come up with a proof of the existence of Narnia or Never-neverland?
[Vicinity] Dabblez: The reason is perhaps there is something more to Rimor.
[Vicinity] Dabblez: Many experts think that Rimor exists, if not in reality, at least in our, collective unconscious.
[Vicinity] Dabblez: Over the past seven years, there have been many documented incidents of people with false memories from their life on Rimor.
[Vicinity] Dabblez: What is interesting is that this various accounts are consistent between the different subjects.
[Vicinity] Dabblez: For instance, an Omni Bureaucrat called "Trousers" is often the object of these fantasies.
[Vicinity] Agrestus: chuckles.
[Vicinity] Dabblez: But does this prove Rimor actually exists?
[Vicinity] Dabblez: Of course not. What we need is some good old fashioned maths. So on with the proof.
[Vicinity] Dabblez: Take Pi, always a good place to start.
