Criminals Siezed in Heroic Rescue

IRRK Freelance - BELIAL FOREST - Following the arrest of an impostor at the monthly Omni-Tek Affiliate Meeting in Omni-1 HQ, two further criminals connected with the scheme have been identified and eliminated by Omni-Pol.
At the Affiliate meeting 8 November 29482, a peculiar individual replaced the expected Colonel Reyes of the Armed Forces. Though alike in both height and stature, and equipped identically to the real Reyes, this individual acted and spoke in a manner unusual for the colonel.
Subsequently entering the board room and giving an unexpected report requesting any and all information related to Shadowland lifeforms, the impostor was identified and questioned by Director Sergeyich of Omni-Pol.
The Atrox revealed that Colonel Reyes had been captured, and that he was being held in a remote abandoned Joint Clan outpost in Belial Forest. With the revelation of this new information, the impostor attempted to escape, fleeing from the Administration building in a frenzied panic.
Omni-Pol Captain Uchiha was immediately excused from the meeting to pursue the impostor, and, with the aid of the Unicorn Company, this was quickly achieved. In a later account of the events by Captain Uchiha, the Atrox was reportedly placed in a detention facility for further questioning.

Police forces proceeded to rescue the Colonel, held hostage, with a record time of slightly under thirteen minutes. They discovered two collaborators, an Opifex female, Anteia, and accompanying Solitus, Beruthiel.
Both criminals were surprised that Omni-Pol had identified their location and a fierce firefight ensued. The skill of the criminals notwithstanding, they were quickly overwhelmed and eliminated by the Omni-Pol forces. Colonel Reyes was found rooted to the floor by a hostile nanoprogram, which terminated with the death of the captors. He gave an account of what transpired.

It became apparent that the Colonel was questioned about the Shadowlands, a topic which all the criminals showed a keen interest in. With the Colonel's impostor captured, and the arrest of the other two criminals in processing, it appears that the motives and aims of this mysterious group shall soon come to light.
The initiative taken by both Omni-Pol and the Unicorn Company in this daring rescue should be congratulated, and it is solely due to their efforts that these dangerous individuals have been caught.
