Dragon*Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the US. Dragon*Con 2008 will be held Labor Day weekend (August 29 - September 1, 2008) in Atlanta, GA.

Funcom booth hours (Our booths are in the Marriott Marquis ballroom 103-111):

• Friday 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m
• Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Monday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Friday - FunCon Event (10pm Sheraton Capital Ballroom)

This year’s event is one not to miss as everyone is invited to join us Friday at 10pm at the Sheraton Capital Ballroom! We will have several ballrooms adjoined together with the best in lighting and sound as DJ Tarryk will be spinning the musical entertainment for the night. Along with the entertainment we will also have many Funcom attendees from Anarchy Online dropping by throughout the night to help make this FunCon one to remember!

• 10 - 11am : Sheraton Athens Room (Anarchy Presentation)

LOL, don't even get me started on the prize system for the Global Supremacy contest. Nothing like winning a brand new system with decent specs to play a game on that doesn't need it.

I made the unfortunate decision to "upgrade" some of the stuff in my rig recently only to find my performance in AO went down the drain. I think I'll put my old stuff back in and wait for the new engine...oh wait, then I'll be waiting forever.

I expect there to be some new videos on the GFX engine. If not, or if it's just a re-hashing of the same videos like the last presentation then I believe you may be correct with your assumption.
