My guess how it goes today is:
OST= some rk spot up to lvl 40ish, then nascence hecks, then ely hecks and DONE
As for kiting:
Broken Shores Omni Whompah, Field x8 next to it is full of blubbags. Level 20-45 there.
Then, of course, 2m.
Then South of the Helipad in PW - level 120ish borgs
Then Kite Hill.
Then "Demon of Shadow" in Inferno - near Sorrow.
For solo xp/research from 140 and up Solo DR chimeras are very good, pull and kill, zone out and get a new PF, no waiting.

From 160+ hidden leets in pen near ado -> pen portal are nice. You could do it at lower lvl but it would require doing ring quest.
