Funcom, why should i buy that expansion pack if i'm not interested in PVP ?

I dunno...

I hear that the expansion pack will ship with the origional game included (latest patched version).

I don't want to have to buy the base game all over again - I don't need it. I've been playing almost from day 1. I feel it is a waste of money to buy the game again just to get the expansion.
All I desire is the expansion stuff.


As far as the booster is concerned...
I like the idea of booster packs. Makes upgrading easy for people with slower connections. It allows for (potentialy) faster instilations of larger patches/content


As far as content of the forthcoming booster is concerned...
I really don't think I will have much use for what it offers. So I am probably gonna pass on it.

In either situation, I'd rather have the option to download it.

I'm starting to believe, since Funcom is "on purpose" not responding to this, that indeed there is NOTHING else but PVP stuff in that expansion pack.

If it's true that's pretty pathetic guys.

Why oh why can't some people seem to grasp the fact that the client that ships with the Booster will cost you sod all. It would be $19.99 without the client, if you don't want the client CD for back-up purposes then give it to someone else or use it as a beer coaster, it's not rocket science!

And who gives if you want the booster or not, im sure most will opt for it as it contains more than just the land control. Read the press release, it was a bit to big for a normal update pa.....bah who cares :P

1) Stay at backyard hunting till lvl 50-70

2) Make guild termainals or shops to recruit people from
the beggining and teleport tehm to their towers when
they reach lvl 10 .

There are new vehicles in the expansion pack, and voice support. By voice support, I mean voice-bytes, probably Tribes 2 style.

If you don't want to PvP or do the land control thing, then the answer is simple: don't buy.

I dislike PvP and probably will not engage in that after i get the boster pack either. The main reason I'm gonna buy it is the new Yalmahas!!! Yalmaha - 29500 - The Stiletto
