Unhappy PVP questions from a newbie

    Hi
I am lvl 25 and I have never played PVP before .
Could anyone give me some advice about how the system works?
-Are there any areas for low lvl PVP?
-How do I engage in PVP combat?
-If I kill someone do I gain XP and credits as in missions?
-Do I get the chance to loot them?
-What happens If I get killed?
What happens if I accidentally kill someone from my fraction (I am Omni) ?
Is there any fan site I could visit for guidance?

    Ugh.. ow.

This will be bad, best thign I could say would be to NOT pvp till you get higher, SO many ultra equipped "Second" characters at level 25-30 :\

But In regards to your question.

    - No not really. There are realy only a couple of pvp areas in the game. MMD, 2HO, and Tir Arena (not sure about the Omni arena, but I see lots and lots of omnis duellin in Tir)
    - Hit Q
    - Nup. You dont get anything.
    - Supposedly, but it's never happened to me. Or anyone else I know.
    - Not much. Same as if you die any other way (make sure you save)
    - You can't (not in a 25%zone) unless they are in a neutral team. But other than that, it counts as a normal kill. The Arenas are 0%, and like all 0% zones, you can attack anyone you like

I'd also recommend staying out of the PvP areas until at least 50. Arinia has a title that she got, lost, got, lost , got, lost ... etc, until I realized that low level PvP is all about spending hours upon hours twiddling with the character. I spent a lot of time, and it wasn't enough. Battles were very, very close, and I got spanked by a lot of people. A LOT.

When you get to a certain level, the playing field levels out, as I'm STARTING to see. I've heard the same from a lot of other people as well.

Yes PVP at sub50 now is a whole gladiator culture. I hardly ever see a sub 30 non-twink looking for a fight in a pvp area. IF you can afford to build a gladiator, sure hop on in.

    Answer your questions fast:

MMD is better for you than the arena, arena is all about tiwnks.

If you save before you PVP you lose nothing if you die

If they save they cannot be looted. I don't know if they can now anyway, that whole thing may have been disabled. I never even check to be honest.

You don't get money or exp for PVP but it sure is fun.
