    while i'm not really sure about what I would want in pills/stims, I do think it's something that should be added.

    I'd like to see a few more doc tradeskills, it makes sense that docs should be handing out drugs to people.

    I would really like to see an upgrated PvP UBT that not only slow inititives, but also slows the recharge of perk/special attacks. Something like 5-15+ seconds added to perk rechages (like DoF, SnD, etc.) and special attacks (AS, Brawl, etc.)

    Would like to see our pistol perk line bumped past perk 5. 'Tis a long shot I know.. hasn't changed yet, and I don't know of any changes done to the perk line yet... but Holiday Season is coming and we are bound to get some FC love.

    added a new one:

    25. A nano that "syphons" xx% DoT damage on the target into healing for the doc. (though % healing eff. would be nerfed)


    think of it as turning your DoTs into an equal HoT on yourself, but sacrificing your ability to heal yourself in the process. (allows docs to focus on only doing damage)

    If implemented, it could be quite scary, esp. if it only were removable by hale&hearty or similar

    Hitting someone with this, and if you tank/kite him and his friends long enough, he starts to feel the effects really badly

    Agreed that over the duration it will be a powerful DoT but I do not see FC adding at as a seperate line but may over-right another DoT line (just like MP's do >.< ) I would much rather see out DoTs over right all other professions since we are the masters of the DoTs (MPs over-right our DoTs and have AS [not to mention a symb friendly bow] and Pets) I am uncertain about NT DoTs.... haven't tested it, someone mind correcting me if I am wrong? (yes I do invite corrections if I am wrong.. it has been know to happen... a lot )

    At the moment, like many docs I know, I'm not playing mine much because it's just not fun any more. If this thread is an indication that FC are aware of the problem then that's really good to hear. I'd make one request which is that I'd really like to hear Silirrion's personal vision of the doc profession and how it fits into his overall vision of AO (PVP in particular) - how does a primary healer fit in when you want people to die more? Maybe as a debuffer or even a killer - but I'd like to understand where the prof is going.

    May be repeating what others have already said but:

    - More general resistance to debuffs - quite simply, we should be better equipped to PVP on full def. There is more nano init available now, but it's still not enough. For many other profs it's a no brainer to PVP on full def, yet docs are expected to make sacrificies to do so.

    - More resistance to traders in particular. Docs are supposed to have special abilities to resist traders (nanos and perks to resist/remove drains). Bring these up to date to help us counter the new, easier to land drains and the horror that is GTH. Make GTH removable. IMO, all profs should be able to remove GTH if they are no longer in combat, and docs should be able to remove it in the same way that they can remove drains, even in combat. (Traders are undoubtedly overpowered atm, but docs suffer particularly badly from this.)

    - Some sort of bailout ability, eg. a massive self-only perk or item based HOT that also drains nanopool or even NSDs us. (This could even be locked so that it only works on battlestations. Docs are particularly not fun on TL7 BS atm.)

    - New debuffs, in particular, extend both init debuff lines and for goodness sake LOCK THE EXTENDED NANOS TO REAL PROFESSION NOT VISUAL PROFESSION. It's ridiculous that TL5 agents run around casting the same init debuff as 220 docs...

    - Extend both HP buff lines as already suggested, I'd just like to add that again, these should be real profession not visual profession. We are a team-focused profession and with the forthcoming team PVP title system, people should have reasons to team a doc instead of an agent.

    - Ditto hots.

    - The PVP dot that requires the doc pistols barely makes up for the loss of AS in terms of damage and doesn't make up for it in terms of 'finishing off' ability. I'd say improve it, but I must admit that, as an adv, I already find it very nasty when this dot is cast on me, especially if I've made a run for it and the dot is still ticking. Maybe compliment it with an improved nuke that also requires the pistols to be equipped - a sort of 'finishing off' nano that replaces AS. It should be bigger but slower to recharge than our existing nuke. Edit: I think it would be quite reasonable for such a 'finishing nuke' to have a cooldown (not recharge) of anything up to a few minutes, my suggestion is not to increase DD by a large amount but just to give pistol docs a 'finishing off' ability.

    - Give TL5 docs new heals and dots, or just remove the level locks on doc SL nanos. They're using the same nanos as agents of the same level. Traders can use their new tools at TL5 and docs are stuck with the same stuff we could cast at TL5 in 2002.

    Like Carjoy, I apologize if I'm repeating myself.

    • New endgame DoTs as good in PvM as PvP, all 3 spread out when it comes to duration: A DoT during 1 minute, B DoT during 1.5 minutes and C DoT during 2 minutes. NOTE: Make nanoresist check pretty low (say 90%): too many profs can play full def and thus benefit from every NR they got. Don't exceed casttimes above 8s/DoT and recharge should be 1s.
    • New special Debuffing DoT line. Different DoTs as the previous line, more in the philosophy of the Wrack & Ruin DoT: less damage, but bothers target more.
      A DoT would have nanoskill debuffing, B DoT would have weaponskill debuffing, C DoT would add a cyclic short stun BUT requires A and B Debuffing DoTs to run. NOTE: Make nanoresist check pretty low (say 90%): too many profs can play full def and thus benefit from every NR they got. Don't exceed casttimes above 8s/DoT and recharge should be 1s.
    • Already proposed in a topic extension of the x-degree burn line with new nukes with side-effects (too lazy to go look and copy-paste everything though).
    • We are THE healers, so wtb team heal better (vanilla, without heal efficiency) then advy team heal. 3.5s casttime, 4.5s recharge, 2.5k-3.5k heal in a 25m area.
    • Reduce nano consumption on team-DB or make it last longer by, say, 50% (it takes out a too large chunk for the duration). Also fix NCU usage from the Team DB nano, often I can't cast it after ninjabuffs cos the nano running in NCU uses less than the nano that has to be casted.
    • Why not a nano "Sacrifice of the virgin" (yeah, not looking too far for name searching ): empties doc nanopool a few times but casts a short HoT healing for 2k every tick for the duration of the nano and taunting like hell so noone can ever take agg back (will force docs to run/scream/cry/BGH/pray* ). (*scrap what you don't like )
    • An aura, or make it a feature for a doc-only armor: every hit the doc takes is partially converted into a healing. Say, doc gets hits for 4k, his armor/aura reduces damage by 750 which will be the amount of healing. I don't mind docs having almost no firepower, I prefer them to be able to survive most situations, even if it's sweatbreaking, and every little thing helps.
    • Improved LC, when you check stats of actual LC compared to behe, docs are shafted. WTB LC with alot more duration (20 minutes suffice to me) without changing other specs (maybe diminish recharge time a tad). Also a Team version would be nice.
    • New unbreakable debuff line: not only inits, but also rs (in my book, if you slow down someone's movements, speed is included in this as well). Higher debuff than ubt (some mobs got such high inits, even with ubt landing, it seems nothing changed). Improved version would be AoE.
    • Improved superior omni-med enhancement of course, docs are using the same endgame nanos for too long. :/
    • Docs have extended their medical knowledge and can now operate genetic aesthetical modifications. Like the agent's face graft nanos, but then a line with different nanos: one to change VisualBreed (your atrox can look like a soli, although he still has stats of an atrox (on infocard, one would see e.g.: Breed: Solitus (Base: Atrox), another to change size, a third to change face and a fourth to change between anorexic, normal, heavy. Would be target nanos and the target will have to confirm a dialog box to avoid every doc turning AO into a real mayhem
    • A new nanoline for the docs that are fond of tanking like me ^^: derived from the enforcer's SL essence buff line. No RS penatly (got trouble enough to keep up with team ) but only half of the hp an enfo would get. So at most, would be 6.5K extra. Maybe instead of RS penalty a 5% heal eff reduction.
    • MAs can get unstunnable perkline, I'd just like we got a reduced version added in one of our heal perklines as imho, being specialists from the living (or less alive) bodies, we know how to prevent part of the stuns. So all docs would in the end get like, say, 50% stun resist (1 perk adds 5%, next 10%, third 15% and last 20%). Still far away from what MAs got, but hopefully good enough to counter more stuns, as pvp is ****ty for docs the way it is cos of the multiple alphas or stuns that land on us.
    • Nanoline "Power of science". Can only be used when snared AND debuffed/blinded and will raise RS and raise inits/clear blind for a brief moment, allowing the doc to get away more easily, in return, doc has nanoskill reduction.
    • For new endgame doc armor: aesthetically pleasing (updated omni-med battle armor look?), 100% proc that deflects part of the damage (11-22%) and turns the deflected damage into heal, idea of stats will be fusion between ofab doc armor, omni-med battle and the DB pieces.


    That's it for now with my ideas (been typing a couple of hours on this).

    Stats for new endgame doc armor:
    • Back item: 1.5 k ACs, 300 hp & nano, +100 RS, +100 nanoinit, 15 NCU, +30 treatment & first aid and +30 NF range.
    • Body Armor: 1.5k ACs, 750 hp & nano, +100 nanoinit, +35 nanoskills, -5% nanocost, 20 NCU, +20 treatment & first aid and +30 NF range.
    • Boots: 500 ACs, 300 hp & nano, +75 RS, +25 nanoskills, -5% nanocost, 20 NCU, +10 treatment & first aid and +50 to all evades.
    • Gloves: 400 ACs, 300 hp & nano, +100 nanoinit, +20 nanoskills, -5% nanocost, 10 NCU, +10 treatment & first aid and +50 to pistol, RE, shotgun & MA.
    • Helmet: 1.1k ACs, 300 hp & nano, +100 nanoinit, +10% heal efficiency, -5% nanocost, 20 NCU, +10 treatment & first aid and +15 stam/psy.
    • Neck: 500 ACs, 1250 hp & nano, +150 RS, +150 nanoinit, +45 heal & nano delta, 25 NCU, +25 treatment & first aid and +200 CL.
    • Pants: 900 ACs, 300 hp & nano, +75 RS, +25 abilities, -5% nanocost, 20 NCU, +15 treatment & first aid and +50 fling shot.
    • Sleeves: 450 ACs, 300 hp & nano, +100 nanoinit, +20 abilities, +5% heal efficiency, +15 nanoskills, +15 treatment & first aid and +100 AAD
    • Shoulderpads: 350 ACs, 350 hp & nano, +10 nanoskills, +5 abilities, +25 AAO & AAD, 15 NCU, +15 NF range and +75 nanoinit.


    Total would be for full set:
    8k ACs, 4500 hp & nano, +900 nanoinit, +130 nanoskills, -25% nanocost, 160 NCU, +150 treatment & first aid, +90 NF range, +400 RS, +75 abilities, +20% heal efficiency, +250 AAD, +50 AAO, +50 pistol, RE, shotgun & MA, +50 fling shot, +50 evades, +45 heal & nanodelta, +200 CL and +15 stam/psy.

    Overal req: TL6+, 1.1k stam, 800 psy.

    Each piece would add 1 to 2% to the healing proc. Means that if you only use 4 pieces, you will only have 4 to 8% of the damage deflected and healing you.

    Meshes: upgraded omni-med battle mesh for armor (helmet is soo cool), hoping for pill pack mesh for back item, but maybe the OFAB gear would be better, I like the superior icy shoulderpads of the powerful mind mesh for the shoulderpads.

    Sorry for the very long post, I hope my healing colleagues will agree with my idea for the armor, but of course, it's just a suggestion.
