    With the pistols docs have pretty neat option for damage at high levels, and against high HP mobs with some sacrifices on setup we can do some pretty nice damage. If you go the rezi route you can even do very nice damage, though the sacrifices are a bit bigger.

    I'll accept your point about leveling docs though. I never really saw it as a problem as i ch tanked everything but leveling docs could use damage additions to make them more desireable for teams that rush through missions not needing a doc.

    Without sliding into the fanboy demenaor, I think fc did show some nice additions and work being done on ao, especially compared to the months before sil took up the throne. There are things I'm unhappy with, GTH being one of them, but I don't think FC deserves the "never fix bugs, never listen, never acknowledge" kind of treatment. Maybe the game will take a turn to your liking again in the future.

    I'll by lurking around till the 19.0 patch (or will be back for it if it takes too long) since I really want to see the updated graphics engine.

    Since I really only like PvM, particularly teams (though I mostly wind up soloing while /lft due to tiny server population when I can play) going to the BS at all was rough, but to be such a favored target there when I can't even do decent damage back is crazy.

    The best (ok, only) suggestion I got was to tab/ubt everyone I could and run away and "Leave the capping to the big boys"... (so why try?)

    And yes I realized rezzing has been suggested before, though the mechanics of my suggestion would be like the engineer's summon player ability which is already in game and should be fairly easy to implement. (/copy code & change skills to BM/TS and require the rez sickness to be running in the targets NCU) text would be something like 'You pull the spirit of -target- back to you assisting its effort to corporate. ' (or something like that) It would be very useful when someone dies during a mission (for instance), and would save time getting the tank back to the scene of a bad pull (assuming the doc survived somehow). (PS, what is the reason for rezzing that makes this unlikely? They want teams to break up rather than wait for the tank to get back?)

    201+ is I hear quite different, but as I've never been there on any toon I couldn't say.

    To be more popular in teams that do easy things and worry about DD the most (hello, inf 220 easy mish), it would probably be most effective if the doc could somehow improve his DD output.

    I think it is only reasonable that high DD output and healing should interfere with each other in some way. If you can heal like a doctor while DDing like an advy, it could be considered slightly overpowered

    1. Nukes was already mentioned, and fits the above quite well. At any point you will have to decide if you want to heal or nuke. A problem is that nukes can interfere with dotting.

    2. A different option would be a nano with bonuses like the enforcer's challenger line, AR and +damage, but with a different type of debuff so as not to interfere with dots. An easy way out would be a 4k debuff to MatMet, but a more interesting debuff would be -100% heal efficiency. The latter would give the doc the option of healing, but at greatly reduced efficiency: a doc with 30% heal efficiency from equipment/perks would heal for 3000 with Complete Healing. SL heals would suffer less, as the HP proc on BI would still heal for 3k on top of your efficiency every few heals.

    Of course, for suggestion 2 to be viable, the damage bonus from the nano would have to be greater than from Challenger.

    Damage is difficult.

    For pvm I dare say we shouldn't get any boost to a level 217+ doc. We have the option of using the doc pistols and even though we have to work hard for it, there are situations where we can do damage coming near the lower third of the "dd professions". With specialised setups like rezi's or rackie's even come to par with many.

    That being said, boosts to doc damage would be needed in the 170-210 range to help levleing docs to make them more attractive to teaming OR teaming grounds (inf mishes) need to be made harder to ecourage picking support profs (not limited to doc) instead of picking dd over support.

    Well and some more pvp damage that works on fast paced enviroments. That's it. No need to increase 220 damage, we are doing more then well with the pistol option.

    ..with some reservations. I'd like a new endgame a/c dot for pvm that doesn't do more damage then our current pvm lines but comes with a shorter cast time. Could even be significantly lower like the pvp dot. It just doesn't need to increase our damage further. Heck, use a quest to give a slightly improved one that only comes with 5s(cap 1s) cast time of a current one. Make it A and it would help in pvp. too. And that's the second reservation. Would like some pvp tools that work better on the BS. Maybe that's just me but between healing my side, myself and running running running to get away or chase someone I hardly ever get a chance ot use our A or B line. They are just too slow and to easily countered.

    That would be nice... I'd however like to see an extension of our nukes (Current top nuke: First-Degree Burns) before better dot's really...

    Some better weapon options (if not better nukes) at lower and mid levels would be helpful also... Luckily I have never had to go through token farming with any of my toons, but I can imagine it being anything but fun for a low/mid level doc as it is and have been.

    Reading this list made me realise, actually fc has kept it in mind (or mmba pushed right ;P). Considering the Team Lifechanneler and the nano init proc from the robe, even if that isn't that awesome as a real proc.

    Here are my "current" thoughts on the list:

    4. A nano or kit to ward off rez sickness (from self or target)
    ~~ maybe not remove it completely, but scaled by ql of kit w/ 200ql doing 50%? This may "assist" FC desicion on a method of implementation w/o thinking a full rezz removal is too strong of an option

    5. Some sort of snare
    ~~ call it convulsions or puking stun...

    10. A proc that adds to nano init.
    ~~ that doesn't require us to remove one of our current items that procs

    12. Other weapon lines with similar equip-mods like our pistols.
    ~~ SO far pretty happy here and this may not change.. I recommend putting furhter down the list (if sorted via importance).... too many wpns choices too fast I think spoils the cuurent capabilities. B/W AI/LE/Dread items currently available for PAID players, maybe some updated froob luv (I like my lower froob chars too ) would be a better alternative

    15. An extention of the -weapon skills dot.
    ~~ one of my personal favorite is Wrack to Ruin... You would not believe how many times people are surprise how there wpn skills are reduced and wondering WTF?

    18. A pet nurse with a short duration, that could be used for a heal, or to take agg off the doc.

    Anti-stun

    An anti stun perk action or nano, which can only be used once every x minutes, that completely shuts down everything in the Doctor's toolset except heals and team heals, in return for stun immunity for, say, 30-45 seconds.

    A UBT with about half the init and damage debuffs present atm, but with a -1000 RS snare for, say, 5-10 seconds. Possibly PvM only.

    Heal Sacrifice perk or nano, that allows us to heal a target who is under 20% health by 70-80% in exchange for us dropping to 35-50% HP.

    Docs should have stunresist in one of the most used perklines. We got barely offense, only got defense (NTs are the opposite), and we are too easily screwed by other profs due to stuns mostly (how many profs don't have stunperks or procs?).

    I really want to see stunresist as a doc, I don't care if I have to take 1 day to kill someone, just make my init debuff land and preserve me from stuns.
