Quid is an english slang to describe money.

quid = pound sterling.

they all mean money.

Though, having a scottish friend I understood quid right away when I saw it

anyway... if you're asking what you get from subscribing in AO..... I'd say you get to play a cool sci-fi MMORPG with a few issues with bug/lag. But most of us are enjoying it. I guess that's why we stay.
