Moaning and groaning my eyes flutter open. It had been an indeterminate length of time since they had closed.

With time came clarity though knowledge was lacking. It would take time to find out what has happened...

"Probably still need my help. Like that's ever going to change. Wonder how Simon and the other nutjobs are doing. Coven has probably given me up for dead. Well thats fine. The dead come back to life every now and again."

Looking around his apartment he stretched. It was time to get back to the work fo the enforcer. Cutting slaying...and dying.

As I reach for a sample of blood, I look up through the glass window into the room beyond.

One of the subjects has awoken.

I press the button under the surgical table, the door locks and the window appears to look like a wall from his side.
