The +4 or whatever from 290 to 300 is essentially epeen. Some of us have no use for it, and prefer to base our wo/manhood off of something that really counts.

maybe. but, imo, the most negative side effect is, that you will always have the feeling that youre still having some "unfinished" business with your toon

Right. Like you would ever "finish" a character in a game with semi-dynamic and periodically increased content.

I don't see the need (or have the time) for stuffing the highest and best in constantly, and having to bend over backwards to do so, preferring to do easier periodic upgrades. Leveling is enough of a treadmill imho, thanks.

Just finished equipping all my QL300 Intelligent Symbiants.

At first I was going to wait until I looted a Burden of Competence, but with the Perfected Infused Dust Brigade Bracer, the Maar's Yellow Belt of Double Speed and two Enhanced Dustbrigade Sleeves, plus we (Omni) just finished the research for the Research Attunement Device - Combat Level Three (to help equip that Master G-Staff), I figured I didn't have to wait anymore.

I'll post my recollection of the events soon... it was kinda hectic fishing around in my backpacks looking for various pieces of equipment to twink the last few points in Stamina or Strength or Agility or Treatment every time I got close, and I kinda lost track of what I was equipping and when.

I had the Gemini Bracer, but by that time I was halfway through building the Perfected Infused Dust Brigade Bracer which had five more Agility.

Also, I decided to do the Feet Symbiant first instead of last... I figured the Feet implant could only buff Agility (no other cluster goes in the Feet), so if I could reach 1276 Agility without a Refined Feet Implant I wouldn't have to remove the Symbiant later.

well if you can put in 300 feet symb, then sequence does not matter. when I did my symbs, I could put 300 rarm only by having 44 agi in feet

Pretty sure Zeriddler posted how he did it, before new DB bracer and before Health 3 (or the other research devices) was done. And thats clan btw.

Yes- that's why I necroed the thread.

At this point, with the number of new base stat (STR/STA/AGI/SEN/INT/PSY) buffing items and equipment available, I figured it would be a good time to make a sticky describing the procedure in detail.

... and to those veterans who equipped the highest level Symbs they could pre-AI/LE, and don't consider the extra 2, 3, or 4 points worth the effort, well... Kudos to you pioneers! You did what you could with the little there was available, and I agree- the amount of effort you'd have to expend in terms of reperking time and item farming certainly doesn't justify the nearly insignificant benefits. But it is you whose efforts showed us our own potential, and if I may paraphrase Sir Isaac Newton, if I have been able to reach higher it is only by climbing onto the shoulders of giants such as yourselves.

All in before med 3 and db bracer. Did use a boc though... and omni so had some phat contracts.

Org boss even changed a contract so I could put the feet in. <3 omie.

wasted IPs to put Master G-staff on...
No gunship...

It was actually relatively easy, only brain was a pain.
Then again, i had almost all the twinking phats i can think of.
And of course, help, from Ocene.
Because i can't count.

agreed.. I recently got mine in and only really had trouble with the feet, really had to squeeze every last point.. (managed to get EXACTLY the right ammount of Agi and treatment needed.. was very bloody lucky lol)
But yea, most were just r-click.. Brain was a little harder but thankfully a lot less than I thought it would be lol.

WTB time to play, have full 300 set ready to go for months now, just wanted to get Ai 28 first, not needed for full 300 symbs, but I know I'll never bother to grind it after I put them in, and I want CA.
