A Toast to the NLF

Double toast for those who made the whole crazy thing possible. Its hard enough to be a org leader, but doubly hard for an RP org. Add to that the obvious contension that the NLF made and it takes some nerve to keep up with it. Thank you for doing it for so long.

In ancient times and in other cultures, only the clowns and jesters were allowed to criticise society and it's systems.

I suppose in my quality as the old school neutral joker I've taken quite a few stabs and delivered plenty innuendo at the crackpot kink queen and her troupe of dedicated professional notum-huffers. But like in all things, in humor you can find nuggets of truth . While i do think the NLF did have a good thing going on for a while, after a time the gimmick was wearing thin. I mean, let's be honnest here, just how long can you go " raaahh raahh rahh notum raaah raah raah killing baby nanomages raaah raaah raaah killing the planet" . In fact, a lot of people have seen me discuss this very thing on ch42 and other places, including informal discussions with nuser and some of her members.

I'm glad they had the guts to put it to an end, and hopefully this will finally mean that the neutral community can finally unite on things that concern us all, instead of having to exclude people because of the insistence of dealing with notum or whatever the crackpot issue-of-the-week was. I get where you guys were coming from, but some of us were trying to get things done here.

So three huzzahs for the dead, and i'll mourn the loss of such great and easely exploitable material. I guess i'll have to concentrate on the boy and the clanners now, since there is so much vital jokes to be had at their expense ( and omni bureaucrats, for sure).

I got shivers reading this thread. I am sorry to have missed out.
I interrogated *cough* ... err *blushes* ... Nohva like a newb president that was doing so well building this strange new org, "Third Faction"

To me they are new kids on the block, well it looked that way.
I guess things change, old dies back and gives sunlight to the new seeds to grow forth but it is the same type of plant that grows out of the same soil.
