210+ Trader <3 plz

At 210+ the trader profession needs the most help, not lower levels. The closer to 220 a trader gets, the weaker it becomes. Our wishlist and forum section has some great ideas, but FC usually makes it's own decisions on content.

Fix TL7 traders.
They are very few remaining and there will be 2 paying accounts closed if traders dont getting anything decent in 17.6 thx.

One suggestion though, if this was about Trader improvements/etc.. I personally feel the title/opening post could been more meaning towards "Constructive suggestions for 210+ Traders!"

ive got no problem letting traders get some love.

what im not keen on is all of the love that tl 3/4 traders inherit from this. tl 3/4s are better than fine, and dont need a thing. if tl 7s get somethin, lets keep it for tl 7.

Some suggestions from a 220 Trader on DNW

- please improve our pets, they are merely good for fooling around..give us a shell to summon them wenn we need them or just increase the duration, 30 secs. are pointless for a 220 Nano..just see what crats got instead of their charms
- dreadloch Silverback mk 5b with burst and fling
- put some new stuff (that isn't available anywhere else) in our Tradershop! now it's just good for selling and not for buying
- outfit (team)-line aka traderhumi should be easier castable. so plz remove the cast on target "feature". i just want to click on the icon and don't want to taget me or someone else first.
- extensions of old nano lines like new dmg+ranged init buff, new roots, cl-buff

I vote with both hands on all toons on 3 accs for trader love. As long as it won't be available for lvl175- traders, maybe lvl190-. Just to make sure tl3 traders will stay outta it (I just love these new drains and alloff/alldef usable by lvl75)

Bump for "Title Level from 7" tags. Most endgame traders feel that the power of lowbie trader twinks is keeping us back in the higher levels.

the only "love" traders still deserve, is higher the cast requirements on gth, oh and maybe 2 more drains with at least 2300 pm/ts to cast, draining 300, giving 250 each with 90/150 nanoresist like the "old" new ones.
there isn't much new for traders in higher levels, but this doesn't mean that traders still perform bad or that they need love

165'ish mps can also cast sacrifical shielding, but that doesn't mean that they need a better ss at tl 7

Please quantify your statement here by proving how traders excel in various PVP and PVM arenas. I am not talking tl5 but tl7 and above. Please show how traders are comparible to other profs to prove this bull that you have posted.

They aren't really pets... Decision by Committee is a nuke/debuff type thing that just happens to operate indirectly via 4 spawned mobs (and the DB says 60s duration, so if they are only lasting 30s that sounds like a possible bug).

That said, I'm sure it could do with a bit of improvement such as reducing the lockout or otherwise tweaking their effects. It is supposed to be a 220 nano after all and with the current 30m lockout, you'd expect something a bit more impressive.

As to what else TL7 traders need... not an area I really feel competent to comment on, so I'll shut up

I think the despawn after 30 seconds is so we don't risk ODing soldiers.

It is interesting how traders are the only control profession (ref. symbs) who don't have pets (ref. your "not really pets"), though I'm not sad about it. Lugging the 4 gimps around permanently would just be annoying.

Please do keep working on traders. Every prof out there should actually have a reason to say "eeep, a Trader - better kill him fast, or run." And in pvm, we are so far behind other profs it is not even funny.

edit: And yes - PLEASE - don't keep making stuff that twinks can use. Its not even funny any more. Its bad enough that the nerf cries are inevitable at tl 7 . . . its even worse when the same nanos are used at tl 4 and 5, and we have to agree with them.

there are several high level traders who perform very well, and spray havoc around enemy lines in pvp.
-area root. along all area effects this is one of the most strongest things in mass pvp
-evades. a good trader can get a massive amount of evades, so he is unperkable after one nanite enhanced drain vs the target or a corporate protection for a couple of enemys
-hp/nano more than 12k should be possible for a nm, and 14k for a trox....in evade armor of course. if nanopool maxed and gth running (both possble in 1,5sec) you even absorb a couple of hits till your drains are in.
-stay in the backround! damn, you are support like docs and stuff. if you are jealous cause advis or keeper live longer...think about how many arearoots and debuffs they have. let the soldiers tank the enemy raidforce till you have some drains in them.

you got several keys to survive and do you job in pvp, but the stuff that everyone wants the defensive tools of a advi is weird. they are supose to survive a lot, but lack in other places. take your role in pvp and stop crying. now with gth, borrow reflect and nanobot defense you have some time to get you drainwhip out

there are also advis who keep dying by every little dmg they get, or agent unable to kill anyone, but the reason for one's profession love shouldn't be who has got the greater idiots
