I'm wondering if people want it done right or want it done quickly
In my experience, you don't get both.
Atleast they took it down to fix the bugs instead of leaving it run buggy.
Working in both the mainstream programming field and the customer service
field; I have a lot of respect and patience when it comes to downtime or delays.
I couldn't tell you the number of times I wanted to smack a customer and
ask them wtf they were b*tching about.
Take your time, it's better to have people whine about downtime than to
whine about crappy gameplay.

here is your update:
the network dangly bit wasnt supposed to be dangly... we are working on a fix, but we have no fingers with wich to fix it, so we are trying to do it with our teeth and tongues. we will let you know when it is ready.
Hope they disconnect the network dangly thing from the network before using their teeth on it... else it could result in some "shocking" results

the blue things attached to the red thing, the red things attached to the yellow thing, the yellow things attached to my watch, uh-oh...
*ZAPS*
that's why it's taking an extra 15 hours
Everything was perfectly fine for me for at LEAST 40 mins before servers went down. No chat lag, no zoning issues etc. which makes me hope that pip is wrong about the 12hr+ estimate.
but anyway.
sounds like a job for.....
You were running network support in 1977?
Who were you working for?
The CIA?
Less hyperbole plx, you wouldn't be employable now if you spent 30 years in the biz, as architecture has changed so radically you'd have been culled in 1983 at the very latest.
Go ask some IBM employees just how long their 'job security' lasted
