In behalf of the AO Universe Staff I'd like to welcome our new Community Manager,

As some have already mentioned, you have big shoes to fill Shannon. Craig started as a very avid AO gamer, became Site Manager at AO Vault then was grabbed by FC to be AO's Community Manager (one of the smartest decisions of the company in my opinion) and now is our Game Director which has brough AO to a new level of sci-fi MMO gaming.

Considering you're covering not just AO but the entire Funcom line of games, you certainly have a challenge ahead of you.

i dunno.. its prolly a reigonal thing... i can think of almost equal amount of shannons in my area.

even tho... i think most of us do default to thinking female.

quite a few on the aoc irc kept asking for confirmation of his gender as well till i quoted Sil referring to him as.. well.. him.

You've probably been informed of the Trader Forums... it's a bit of a riot

, but hey, those always get some attention and maybe things changed!

I wish you the best of luck, but please... PLEASE talk to us more about what the devs are doing.... some of us who deeply care about balance in this game are very wary on their decisions, and there's practically NEVER been an explanation...

I hope you will be the one to change this!!!!! I have high hopes for you!!!

I have no background to claim intimate knowledge on this... but I doubt a Community Manager has detailed knowledge of what the devs have in mind. Silirrion would be a better subject for "target practice" there..?
