Some rumor came to my attention today that I feel I need to comment on.

Apparently there is a uproar among players because they have heard we used 10-20 people to work on the new character creation for 6 months.

My guess is that this is a big misunderstanding of this paragraph from the latest newsletter:
Trond Arne Aas, Funcom President and CEO:
Our "booster crew" as we affectionately call them, has worked long and hard on this booster pack and their efforts have been separate from the team working on regularly added content. We have had a dedicated team of 10 to 20 people focused entirely on this product over a period of about 6 months. So, as a company we must also put a value on that development time.
These 10-20 people have been working on design, code, graphics and sound for land control, new yalms, ground vehicle, etc, not the new character creation.

The people working on the new character creation (which is in 14.6, not the booster) were 2 guys, doing that for a few (2-3) months. And I'm pretty sure they did other tasks during that time too.

Hope that clears up the misunderstanding.
