    Review: Melle professions

    I see how funcom only concentrates on some professions, while ignoring bugs/suggestions on these forums

    The loved:
    FIXER - tool set improved - offensive (added full auto) Lost Eden
    NT - tool set improved offensive and defensive 17.2
    TRADER - tool set improved offensive and defensive ..nanos 17.2
    MP - tool set improved offensive and defensive in 17.2
    CRAT - plans to improve the tool set in 17.3
    DOCTOR - plans to improve the tool set in 17.3
    SOLDIER - plans to improve the tool set in 17.3
    ENGINIER - plans to improve the tool set in 17.3

    The not-so-loved:
    Enforcers - no plans
    Martial Artists - no plans
    Shades - no plans
    Keepers - no plans


    can someone explain why they love ranged professions so much? and why they work on new stuff, when the old stuff /bugs/suggestions are still pending?
    Please review the melle professions and fix they'r tool sets, or say atleast if you will do it or not. many of us are tierd and just want to leave if no sort of hope or answer is given.

    Bump.

    Ranged > melee clearly right now. All the melee users have rerolled ranged classes or have quit. Or they continue to try and make setups work for pvp and they get more frustrated, take it out on these forums, and get 0 response/support from the community. Only other melee users feel the pain.

    NT - chagned from 3 years miserable existance into playable proffesion
    TRADER - chagned from 3 years miserable existance into playable proffesion
    MP - chagned from 3 years miserable existance into playable proffesion

    CRAT - plans to improve the tool set in 17.3 - long awaited and deserved love i might add

    DOCTOR - plans to improve the tool set in 17.3 -
    SOLDIER - plans to improve the tool set in 17.3 - one junk nano that no one asked for
    ENGINIER - plans to improve the tool set in 17.3 - one junk nano line that no one asked for

    Martial Artists - overpowered 18% crit procs, new special attacks in 17.3
    Keepers - yes they are clearly not so loved. Keeeper is the nerfest prof.

    Cut the stupid conspiracy theories about melee hate.

    u left out enfs and shades, these are the nerfest... no keepers

    keepers? lol they don't have much to complain.... just "out of range!!! can't attack!" they'r tool set is fine.

    I think its funny an engie trolling a melee proffesion post.

    Maybe I'll just spend my time searching for you on the BS to EP and then you can suffer the specials war like the rest of us.

    LoL at your remark about MA's...really...all the game's best MA's have quit or don't play anymore. Get a damn clue?

    Quite ignorant for an engie of all proffesions to come in here and cry about a 'fix me' thread.

    eh... engi's didn't get very much in LE, except maybe the ofab chest and a new (meh) nano, depending on how well it works. Your a keeper, your a lovechild, nice to see you whining to.

    If complaining plz keep on facts. Enfo got absorb 4 example. That is quite more then nothing.

    Shades got uba proc-dots too and keeper isn't a "nerfest prof" Oo... I would like to see some tested and balanced changings as well but cant fully agree with the first statement.

    lol at idiots hating on certain professions because all the "cool" kids seem to be doing it...

    Actively pvp on a tl7 keeper before you make the assumption they are lovechildren otherwise you'll just come across as a clueless retard to those who do.

    And yes, melee profs do suck balls atm and I really don't see fc doing anything to change this. After all, this is Aimed-shot Online =/

    Ok... I'm guessing you play an agent or something along those lines.

    Heaven forbid that enfos actually have a useful defense that you can't AS through with one shot and add damage on top of it.

    So masicly you have Enforcers and Shades + Overall gameplay throu Economy and PvP left... But this is about melee proffesions so lets scrap the last 2... (Untill the revolution comes... -.-`)

    Yeah Enfos and Shades need some serius love... Especialy Enforcers... there pritty much crap in PvP now... and Shades.. whell i was afk for 2min earlier while there was some... adult material.. on the TV.. and a Shade tried to gank me.. But faild to kill me... When i looked back on my screen (i was on BS) I noticed my HP was at 5% so i hit AMS and heal perks to take care of the DoTs i had on me and watched a shade get chased away by someone...

    One small point. I'm ranged. I get the 'target is out of range' message when trying to initiate an attack using specials on BS all the time, even if the target is standing next to me. Here's the work-around: hit Q first, then specials.

    I understand that melee professions have less range that ranged professions, some of your woes, however, might result from a game bug rather than an intended range limitation.

    Yes reflects got nerfed. Altho the fact remains that reflect nerf hit everyone else much harder then it did soldiers.

    You get hit for what, 2.5-3k when in AMS ? Grats, my keeper gets capped for 40% total hp through 72% reflect.

    Debatible.. Almost no one else even had reflects in ther own toolset while soldiers rely only on relfects for defence..

    However this is about the melee proffesions.. Move on =P
