All I can say is congrats to both Znore & Sil in their new jobs.

Like the press release says, Sil has been with Anarchy Online from the start - Considering what many people have said now & then, that seems to be one of the most important qualities that can be asked for AO's Game Director. Having met the guy several times in the past, it's a given he has the rest of those qualities.

BUT...I also have a feeling this isn't the last we've heard of Znore.

As always, I am very, very impressed that AO would choose to hire and promote from INSIDE the community. This promotion of a person who KNOWS the game and KNOWS the players bodes well for us all.

AO totally impressed me 4 years ago, when I was looking for a solid game to replace the one I was on that went down in flames (Earth and Beyond, RIP). It was either here or Eve and to this day I have never regretted coming here. This promotion affirms the message I got 4 years ago, that this game was NOT going to go away any time soon, and that (believe it or not) Funcom actually was TRYING to support and interact with the playing community.

True, we were hit hard by other, newer games, but we still have the best players, best support, best design staff, and now the best Game Director we could possibly have. Funcom committed itself to stay with AO for the long run, and it doesn't at all look like we are done with our run yet!
