Omni Attack on Old Athen
December 22, 29480 - Reporter "Agentcora" Cora [Rimor]

IRRK Freelance - On the 12th of December 2006 at 21:00GMT, Omni-Pol launched an unprovoked assault on the Clan city of Old Athens.

The Omni-Pol forces consisted of over 30 Elite Troopers ranging from Omni-Pol Shock Troopers to Command Juggernauts. Many innocent and unarmed Clan civilians died during this attack. The attack was led by Omni-Pol High Commander Hotdelicious and Commander Drdoma. Over 50 Omni-Tek Civilians joined the battle. However Omni-Tek was eventually beaten back by the Clan forces. It is believed that Omni-Tek was trying to take control of Old Athens.

By the way, did this brilliant play for payback include some of us getting all up into Rome and then beheading your poor Unicorn Commander? I even kept a lock of his hair as a keepsake. Your payback turned into a clan riot on your own soil, and your kinsmen watched as we wrecked your toys. Was this part of that plan? If so, I am rather unimpressed.

You should use another adjective. It is well known that clans are filtyer that omni. We have done some charitable actions where we have sent some soap shipments to clan citys so they would have some basic items for hygene.

- Clanners are cleaner than OT. We cleaned toxic waters in Tir (after OT dumped chemical agents there in first place). And we don't have slums and open severs in any of our settlements.

Seems like Alex is loosing his footings, one would expect OTAF would carry out such operation, not coppers. Guess he's smarter than I have expected.

Trgeorge.. I do agree with you on the OT raid against West Athens. I was surprised by this action too. The attack should have been against 4 Holes not West Athens. It was an unnecesary action.. a waste of resurces.

As for the bombing of 4 Holes by OT, that was aimed against the mining facilies, the clan casualties were some secondary efects, while the casualties against OT personell and guards were intentional. So do not lecture me about casualties at 4 Holes.

Even NLF and Dust Brigade aren't nuts enoug to plant bombs at places with high concentration of notum. And you forgot bomb casualties among OT employees too, whatever you want to believe, Unionists didn't exiled all personel, just those that fought against them.

bomb + notum = big badda bum => big damage to mining facilities => objective accomplished = no more creds for the clans.

Some regretable losses. From data I have the OT personell had a yearly save. So they lost some memories. That is acceptable.
