OTPC: Xaun, Elyssia and Cordah. The Truth!
Thursday 19th October, 29480 - [Atlantean]
It would seem that over the past few months, several people of a Clan background have been getting extremely flustered about the possibility of one of their lesser representatives being intentionally assassinated by Omni-Tek Forces.
Need I remind you that Omni-Tek does not waste its resources chasing after individuals who have thus far posed nothing but idle threats to us. Those that do pose a threat to us, or did at least, have thus far been removed. I write this, not just to reveal previously classified information, but also to resolve any misunderstandings by the Clans, and believe me you have greatly misunderstood what has gone on here.
Late June 29480, I asked a retired former operative of my department and good friend of mine to help me in an assignment. This was documented in the recent Clan article "Devious Dealings of an Omni-Tek Nature." (http://forums.anarchy-online.com/sho...d.php?t=465059.) Need I remind you the importance of factual intelligence when it comes to being successful in this war? Something I have yet to see the Clans grasp.
Due to Ms Kiamarli's mundane and outright pathetic attempts at decrypting the voice logs, I feel a need to give you the full, proper conversation.

Bahirae: So you'll do the assassination?
Cordah: Your payment is more than sufficient.
Bahirae: Please be aware, that this assignment is off the record.
Cordah: I have the co-ordinates locked and ready, you can consider her already long since dead.
Bahirae: Even though you're retired, you'll get double the normal pay for this one.
Cordah: Will there be anyone with her?
Bahirae: She makes her way in at nightfall via the south wall, under no circumstances can Elyssia Maesenos be left alive. The Eastern Foul Plains base must be protected from her infiltration.
Cordah: At night you say?
Bahirae: Yes. It's best to kill her then.

Aaah. Well doesn't this raise another interesting set of questions no? Elyssia Maesenos was a Clan Infiltrator working directly under Eleanor Kiamarli, much like the prototype accelerator cannon stolen from the Eastern Foul Plains Omni-Research base, she was trying to sponge more technology off our corporation! This I could not stand for and thus ordered her to be executed.
The following is based on the rifle activation logs and the internal/external sensor batteries within the assassin's Omni-Pol suit. Using Omni-Pol's advanced holographic systems, I have also recreated the scene and individuals involved by extrapolating and projecting the data we had.
Cordah Kensington, the man assigned to take out Elyssia had tracked her across the Foul Plains, after having left the Omni-Research base she'd applied a cloaking device to herself however the thermal sensors on Mister Kensington's rifle were far superior. Using a scattering field she attempted to lose Cordah in the grid, however he was hot on her tail as she made her way into Avalon. The two came out of the grid at the same time and Cordah made for an elevated platform with which to get a clear shot off on Elyssia since she'd gotten a head start at running away.
Or had she? After reinitialising his thermal scanner, he found Elyssia simply tampering with the grid. Cordah wanted to make sure he put a message out to the Clans about this and so he checked the area with a life-sign scanner. He found Ms Xaun Miyamoto in the castle and asked her to come outside, in her clumsy and overeager way she stepped right into Cordah's line of sight.

It was at this point that he had no choice but to fire on Elyssia through Ms Miyamoto.

The angle put the energy bolt through the head of Ms Miyamoto and into the heart of Ms Maesenos, killing them both instantly. Ms Maesenos' pattern was re-routed to an Omni-Tek Cell Scanner and deleted. Using a method of blanket broadcasting, he placed a message on all the comm-links in the Avalon area detailing, "This is what happens to friends of Eleanor Kiamarli," setting an example to all those who oppose Omni-Tek.

I hereby decree under Omni-Pol jurisdiction that all arrest warrants for Cordah Kensington are nullified, Clan or otherwise. He is now living at an undisclosed luxury location with a comfortable bonus pay and retirement package thanks to not only quelling the threat of the infiltrator, but also for clogging the Clan Media and comm. channels with the belief that all this had been to assassinate a hollow woman with a sword. A truly laughable notion.
Remember, those who live by the sword, get shot by those who don't.
Sincerely:
Master Bahirae Seruguisu.
