As we're trying to get together to think about how things could be improved, what we could work on and thinking about the resources we already have.
I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the of the tools AO-Universe has to offer currently, expecially in the RP-Sector.


Roleplaying Guides
Some people are new to roleplaying, or want to sharpen their roleplaying skills, we'll try to get information on roleplaying and techniques or styles of roleplaying so that you are able to consider what is the best way for you to roleplay comfortably and have the most fun while doing it.

AO Stories (Roleplay-Stories)
This section currently only contains one story, but as the system we created for those stories has been improving quite well, we're about to make the system available for the community to easily add their own stories and publish them.

Backgroundstory Pager
The Backgroundstory Pager is designed to let you easily set up a website containing Roleplaying Information about your character(s), so you can share your background and stories with others around the world.
The tool was created because we feel that the first step for successful roleplaying is to know who your character is, what impressions of the world he has and what important experiences might mark his life. How does your character react to situations, who and what does he like or hate... give him a name, a place where he was born, a vision and a goal for life. Make him unique!

A Rubi-Ka Exclusive (Event Reports)
Here you will read the exclusive interviews with important and notable figures and the investigative journalism of Reporter 'Noticiero' Rivera that he has managed to complete on Rubi-Ka since the year 29477.

ChatConverter
Ever wanted to publish a logfile on your guild forum, but got into trouble copying from ingame chat window? Problems will be gone when you start using the ChatConverter.
With this converter you can redraw your saved chatfiles with colors as well as splitting them up correctly for forums. Please read the Info-Page for more details on how to use this invaluable tool.
You can also download a standalone offline-version for your computer, at the Tools Download-Page (look for ChatCon)

ScriptEditor
This easy to use tool can help you to create scripts for ingame execution, give you a preview of how it will look like, and informs you about possible problems. Save the scripts directly from your browser to your game folder and launch them ingame. Please read the Info-Page for more details on how to use.



Since the launch of AO-Universe we're trying to improve our services steadily. Our team is providing new data all the time, which, for example, can be seen in our huge collection of Game/Knowledge Guides.
AO-Universe's slogan is "By Players, For Players". This means, not only our team works on the site, but everyone can, be it with providing guides, feedback, ideas or just generally drops by for a chat. In addition, for one year now, AO-Universe also stands by the point of being totally Ad-Free (except our shameless own AO-related Ads ). Due to recent server issues we're also about to move to a new server to assure full functionality around the clock.

We are definately open to new suggestions, and of course your ideas! Feel free to comment here, on our forums, or use our Contact Form.


As mentioned above, we are always looking for new content, and we aim to create new content to ensure we remain a useful tool for the community, here's a list of planned updates in close future.

Guild Guide
You'll be able to enlist your guilds here. Besides the basic information, you will be able to add a lot of additional information for visitors. We will also make sure to provide a way for people looking for a new org, to find the right one by adding powerful but easy to use search and feedback functions. Expect a preview version of this tool at the RP-meeting on Sunday 2nd of October!

AO Stories for everyone
We're looking forward to make our story-system to be open for fan-publishing, containing easy to use forms for creating and presenting your stories. The idea of using this for event-reports is also in the air.

Events-Calendar
Based on the idea of the old ARK-Events calendar, we're about to release a calendar for players to publish Event-dates, set email-feedback for those who always forget dates, general event feedback and organisation tools, and especially Bot-Support, to get a quick update on events ingame on bots like Channel42!
