    W.W.J.D.?: What Would Jesus Drop?

  2. #22
He could of course drop an item NODROP and UNIQUE.

This item would give you the power to walk/run on water.

Would it stack with Runbuffs then?

You hit Jesus for 1229 points of melee damage.
    Jesus turns the other cheek.

I think fighting Jesus would be boring.

Ignoring all the silly answers to your post, you've pretty much said what had to be said.

Funcom developed missions and for some reason they must have thought they were the best thing since sex. No variations. No modifications. Even a good thing turns sour eventually.

I like your ideas for making them more interactive. I'd definitely go for the evil ones. Heh. I completely agree that the mobs should be turned into something closer resembling players. They are so stupid and brainless right now, it's silly. I mean one soldier mob I was fighting was casting phalanx. Who wrote their AI?

The current system was entertaining for about 10 levels. By then you'd read all the stale and boring mission descriptions. You know where the items are for solo missions. You know where the buttons will be 98% of the time. I now run through missions in a daze usually, many times catching myself falling asleep.

Borrace's idea was great as well. But like he said, there's no chance in hell Funcom would implement it. I think we have to accept that they are understaffed to truly flesh this game out. Which is sad, because it has a great concept.

With AO's pathing system, none of the hostages would ever get out :P

Bring a crat to charm them and lead them to the exit, maybe?

Now there's something I wa wondering as well with missions and MOBs' AIs...

Why do "Rookie Engineers" never walk in their rooms with a bot to help them?
Why do "Fresh Meta-physicists" never summon their pets to help them when a bunch of chars equipped to the teeth stumbles in the mission area?
Why do "Bureaucrats" never try to Charm you?

((Yeah I know, ti'd make missions way more difficult, but hell, *we* do that to them poor MOBs all the time, right? ))
