The Grafters

The Grafters is an Omni-Tek aligned organization based on the Rubi-Ka 2 server in Anarchy Online.

We strive not only to be a close-knit guild but also to contribute to the roleplaying community on Rubi-Ka. There are a few things any member already a part of The Grafters or those considering joining should keep in mind:

--Though we are a guild interested in roleplaying, we hope to maintain an atmosphere in which all should feel comfortable speaking out of character when appropriate. Guild chat is used as a "behind the scenes" communication tool. Roleplaying is of course welcomed and strongly encouraged, but not mandatory. At times when we meet in person and communicate in vicinity /say, however, we would like for everyone to try to stay in character, to try and add something to the atmoshere of Rubi-Ka. Remember, roleplaying is intended to be fun, not to restrict us!

--Always be respectful of those around us! If you need to ask for help, and the person you're requesting help from appears to be busy doing other things, thank them for their time and then find your own way. Do not pester someone who has already told you they can't help for whatever reason. If you at any time have a problem with somebody in or outside of the organization, do not let it escalate into a larger problem. If the issue involves another member of The Grafters, please speak to a General about it.

--Our members are more than happy to help each other out, but because of this generosity, as we grow there may be those who would consider joining us for ulterior motives. Therefore, any new members will not be promoted to full member for a period of two weeks. During that time, it will give us all a chance to get to know each other and see if the new member is the right fit for us, as well as give the new member a chance to see if The Grafters is right for them.

--Our guild is small, but growing. I believe we have something unique to offer Rubi-Ka, and that we will grow to be a great organization. New applicants, however, must keep in mind that we are not there yet, and must be prepared to be patient. There is still work to be done, but the rewards will be great!
