Thread: My Fellow Neutralists.

  1. #1

    Exclamation My Fellow Neutralists.

A young Solitus Adventurer steps forward, raising himself onto the Juggernaut statue that has recently been placed inside of his home city. With his Keelars adjusted to cover his shining eyes and his freshly polished BBI's and Carbonium Armor gleaming for all their worth, he looks down upon those of his brethren who have gathered to protest.

"My Brethren!" , the young man shouts "Hear me! We have lost our city already. Even if we asked the assistance from the Clans, we could not repel these foolish Omni-Tek Invaders and their Unicorn lackeys. So I say that we give them Borealis. Let them keep their prize. But let us not forget the two places that we, those who choose NOT to fight one another, still have to call home."

He jumps down off of the Juggernaut, ignoring the glares from the Tekkies that stand towering over him and their Unicorn friends.

"We still have Newland City. I will admit that it is not half as beautiful as this town but it is still ours. Then there is the Stret. Both the West and East banks are ours. And most importantly, Reets Retreat, the center of all major parties, lies within OUR town. We must ignore the fact that these foolish invaders have taken away that which we proudly considered our birthplace and look to the future. To the defenses that must arise, to the alliances that must be formed."

Pushing his way past a Unicorn Specialist, he looks from one member of the Neutral faction to the next.

"Now is the time my brethren! Now is the time when we must stand together and take down those that wish to take away our freedom and our right to live in peace! If Omni-Tek wants war, THEN LET US GIVE THEM WAR!"

As much as i gain from this turn of event, i say it is NOT a neutral thing to give up.

We started with nothing. Basic shops, no organisations of any kind..... and yet, we survived. We kept on going. We built everything we have from NOTHING. And i as a neutral REFUSE to let the omnitek corporation steal the shining jewel of the neutral lands.

Borealis the beautiful is OURS, and we will get it back, by any means necessary.

I cannot speak for all of my Organization but know that what little support I can offer, I do so freely. I do not wish to lose Borealis but there are times when one must think of the future and leave what has happened to the past until we regain the ability to reobtain our city.

Fleeing will do nothing, I will not be forced from my home and will only leave in a box. Omni-Tek has brought the war to our doorstep, I feel they will regret that decision one way or another.

Your ignorance in this matter is astounding. Peaceful means has lead to this, and giving up the city will only lead to more trouble. If you give them an inch, they will take a mile. To give up Borealis is to give up your cause. We must not go quietly into the night, we must fight and show Omni-Tek that we will not stand for their corruption any longer. We must send a message to the Clans that we can grapple with the best Omni-Tek has to offer and come out on top. Only then can we overcome these two great monsters and take our rightful place as the masters of this beautiful planet.

-looks to Bella- You sir have a habit of bringing the Clans name up in about every feed you post in.. Now is a time for action.. and alliances.. there is no need to try to create a problem where none exists.. You are obviously mis-informed and judging from your tone I would say you hold your own people in as much contempt as OT and Clan.. to me that is sad..

AK is the only Clan publically showing signs of support. The Sentenials will not send aid to Borealis, The Unionist used this as a way to make a grab for the single most important notum mine on the planet. Eco Warriros will not interfear with this matter nor will Gaia for that matter. The Knights of Avalon has not shown any form of public support , and the Vanguards are more concerned about their own interest in Athen to even lend a hand, not to mention their help would come at a price. New Dawn at best will lodge a complaint within the CoT walls, accomplishing nothing. Not even the Pilgrims have shown any form of public vocal support for the Neutrals.

Neutral leaders for that matter have decided to bog themselves down in negotiations and pleas to ICC to remove Omni-Tek from their city, it can be safe to assume that thse pleas will fall on deaf ears.

I wouldn't rule out the neutral leaders just yet. Unlike the Omnis and the Clans, Neutrals do not have an organized command structure in any sense of the word. However, with the mass of sentiment amonst the neutral population opposing the move into Borialis by the fascist omni pigs, the neutrals leaders will meet and there will be action taken.

Does this action include Yarko's letter begging Omni-Tek to leave, and to get the CoT to put pressure on ICC to force Omni-Tek to leave? If so this action has not worked before, and it will not work this time.

Yarko is not the voice of the Neutrals and therefore his words mean nothing and are but of one man's view who would rather talk while people are getting slaughtered than standing up and doing something about it.

Yarko is but one man, but you should also note that he is the foreign affairs minister for newland, so he speaks with that authority.

That I understand, but he doesn't speak for all the neutrals

This is very true, but his words may carry more weight than most other neutral citizens. We must try, and when it fails we must be ready.
