    OTPC: Omni-Med investigates robbery

    Omni-Med investigates robbery

OTPC - Omni-Med released a statement the other day about the robbery that occurred in April. It contained the list of items stolen, along with some comments from the manager of the storage area. The manager of the facility that was broken into, Morris Ressik, delivered the statement to members of the press.

"We have done a complete inventory of all the items that were stolen," said Ressik. "An experimental drug designed to lessen the affects of stim addiction was the main thing stolen. That worries us the most. Not only does it set back our research, but it's full effects are unknown.

"Several crates of high yield medical and nano stims, and some various scientific equipment were also on the list of stolen items.

"As for the state of security of our facility, forensic experts say that some home made device was used to bypass the DNA scanner at the door. They are as of yet unsure exactly how it was accomplished due to the lack of evidence."

When asked for further comments, Ressik declined to respond.

A stim fiend on the loose?

Sounds like Omni-pol needs to search the abandoned subways.

Well, I have to say, hacking into the facility with a home-made device and taking things that would yeild a high profit. Could only have been a fixer, and only clanner would rob medicines intended for the underserved community of stim-addicts.
I do admire the style though. In and out. Nice blitz job.

Need I remind you of the number of times that labs have studied some type of weapon and when the prototype is stolen they claim that a "prototype cure for world hunger" was stolen?

Just because they officialy say that such and such was stolen, about all we can know for sure is that a prototype of some type was stolen from the Medcenter. As far as we know it could have been a prototype biotoxin, or perhaps they are telling the truth that it was suppost to be something to lessen the affects of stim addiction.

But with them saying that the affects are still unknown, then if what ever it is acts like a biotoxin and is traced back to their lab all they have to do is say "Well it was still in the prototype phase, and who knows how the person that stole it from us modified it"
