Experimental Weapon Stolen from Omni-Research in Eastern Foul Plains

OTPC - For the second time in one month, the Omni-R&D compound in Eastern Fouls Plains has come under attack, this time however was much more merciless in motion. The assailant, according to surveillance footage and reports from guards after reclamation, was "one of the fastest, most relentless melee weapon wielders to date. Whoever he, she or it was, they moved with intent through the base, picked up the weapon, and made off north at a significant speed."

An investigation into the scene concluded that a false ID had been keyed into the approved access list for the base, the hack had originated from the Omni-Pol outpost in Stret West Bank some nine months before. Master Bahirae Serugiusu, now head of the Omni-Pol’s counter-terrorism operations and the aforementioned Outpost said, "The access logs from that time show that the false ID entered was not done on purpose, but in fact allowed access for someone to 'plant' an access code into our systems. While our computer systems have since been upgraded and enhanced, su****ion points towards possible Clan interference, possibly from the nearby cities owned by The Fist of Chronos and the pro-Sentinel clan Assembly."

As a result of this, the Omni-Pol outpost in Stret West Bank and the Omni-R&D base in Eastern Foul Plains have been fitted with unspecified "upgraded anti-tampering and anti-infiltration measures".

Leads on the location of the weapon believe that it has been taken into Clan territory to engage in a reverse engineering process. Eleanor Kiamarli, a representative from the Council of Truth and their specialist in counter-terrorism stated that she had not "heard of, encountered or seen such a weapon, but I can assure you that the Clans are taking every step possible to defend ourselves from an Omni-Tek threat."

Today in Borealis I witnessed the killing of a NLF member by some breedist thugs. These wet behind the ears thugs were carrying some extreme powerful weapons they shouldn't have been able to use. If these crimes are all connected some how, it might be that their own security is not as great as they would think.

Hack should happen in Stret West Bank outpost ca 9 months ago. That outpost have been evacuated for years. Anyone can walk in there. OT is just too lame to actually clean up after them and lock down terminals. So now some big-shot is trying to save his bacon.

But to be burglarized by a band of troxes and still be no smarter....

I'd check all pie suppliers and then put whole Board of Directors before execution squad just to be on safe side.

Planting IDs into weak Omni security...you know. That reads awefully like some of the work the Smokers Lounge does...and well I might add. Shame they are just mythical though isn't it :P

I like the way Bahirae immediatly points the finger at Assembly and Fist of Chronos though. I know she's been busy taking pot shots at various Clan leaders of late. Guess its continuing in her own unique style.

But you also have to wonder. You have some top secret weapons and whatever was taken from Med also tooked away with no one knowing about it but only high level Omni personal...and looky here. High level Omni personal turn out to actually be Dusters. Hmm...and the first place Omni blame is the Clans? I don't want to stick up for the Clans here but when the heck will the so called Omni investigators bother to actually look at themselves. You have to wonder if the Dusters are just a promotion from the normal Omni-Pol "Sweepers" who shove everything under the carpet :P

Strikes an odd idea that maybe the dusters are just a OT sponsored terrorist group to cause serious problems and than make OT look good when they pull off amazing operations against them.
