Maybe tie it in with Kahr's kill list idea. You drop the necklace in the chat window and then people can click on the item to see the list of who's pinkies were used.
Problem is, how do you tie the wearable item to just the person that did the kills? And how do you make sure you don't use the pinkys from different people's kills in making the item? I guess the pinkies would have to become NoDrop. And then you'd have to raise the tradeskills to make your own necklace.
