I've seen banescale and another with a different name - sort of like a guy riding on the back of a bronto. Didn't have anything useful when I killed them... North east of monstercrater mantis I think

I don't think it's named... there are banescales all over northwest Mort. Also something... "Desert Riders"? Oh, I don't remember... anyway, banescales with people riding on them. Well, people-ish thingies. I've never seen them anywhere besides that one area of Mort-- it's kind of surprising, considering how FC usually re-uses the same monster models over and over and over and over.
The only "mob" I have ever seen was the one that chased me out of Omni-2 after I threw a paint balloon into a crowd of Clanners.

Well, it should be! My doctor tried to tell me that the whole balloon/grenade incident was just a cry for attention so I shoved him out of a window. Then, I went downstairs to admire my work and wait for the emergency services and reporters to arrive. When the reporters arrived, I told them that I am NOT seeking attention and demanded that they post this news on their front pages so that EVERYONE would know that I am NOT an attention seeker! Then I shot them and waited for more reporters to arrive and explained to THEM that I am not seeking attention.
