Sorry, but i think you misunderstood. No one here is talking about things like merceneries in Diablo2 We are talking about buffs or bonuses.

If someone paid attention, a "No atrox allowed" organisation item already exists in the game, so i think Funcom had that idea of 'organisation bonus' at the early stage of development. They just need to add some more variety.

how to drain peoples bank account pretty fast:

hook them up with some super drug with bad aftershocks

this means:

PILLS TO THE PEOPLE

sold by vendors to fixers for a GREAT amount of money. fixers would then get their shady dealer image they always wanted, and people would be able to get buffs (pills) at a HIGH price.

price on pills from vendors should be high enough to make it hard for fixers to overprice too much.

(would be cooler RP wise if 1 class could buy)

result:

we get a tad more "dirty" society

we get the buffs that are sought after, at a high price

we get a huge money drain.

fixers get to play the role of dealers in illegal merchandise
