She sighed, holding her head in her hands, looking for the strength to justify her actions, love knows no boundries she thought only to dismiss the idea almost at once. This was no romantic holographic feed, this was real life. She didn't fear dying, it was a pain in the arse, and whilst regaining her energy and normal mobility did seem to take forever it was by far a better scenario then being caught red handed.
Perhaps the clanners would perma kill her themselves, some would hold her to treason, perhaps a holding center or jail. No, she was no Judas, she would make them see that... damn! why was she even thinking about getting caught, she had to focus.
Tir would be ideal, the grid was almost neglected from lack of use, the few clanners that did use it were always in a hurry, no one would notice her, and if they did, well she was known to be a bit sentimental to her old home, and no one would question her, a guild leader of a well known guild checking the reliability of an almost unused terminal.
She had to see him, it had been weeks, their contact was sporadic and difficult to manage. Agents always seemed to find a way to hack into private relays, and they were at risk to all omni, clan and probably all the neutrals. They should just drop it, walk away and forget. He is Omni, She is Clan, they are both Guild Leaders, there is no way on all of Rubi Ka that it could work. She knows this, shes told herself over and over again. Stop the nonsense.
With a sad smile she stands up, runs her fingers over the grid terminal, and disappears.
