Introducing The Candidates
Part three in a series – Ms. Kelly Dorosaua Jr.
By Aaryl Stark, IRRK Reporter

IRRK - The next candidate in this series is Ms. Kelly Dorosaua, Jr. She is a life long resident of Newland and comes from a family of politicians.

She states that she would like to see "this city (Newland) moving forward and get people actively making decisions as to their future" she went on to state that "Some people believe that to be neutral you must abstain from making decisions, I believe that to be wrong."

Ms Dorosaua has a deep seated conviction that this council gives a voice to the people, a unified voice, to serve the best interest of the Neutral citizens.

The first order of business would be to set forth an agenda of how the board would run and the kinds of topics they would address.

She stated that she sees this council as a diplomatic one. One that "makes sure that the people’s voices are heard." When asked how the council would be funded, Ms. Dorosaua did state that there might need to be a small tax instituted, but that most of the operating funds would come from "trade".

Ms. Dosoraua's campaign is centered mostly around the free trade issue. She firmly believes that Neutrals should have open trade with Omni tek and that neutrals are a "worthy business partner". She is in full support of the Free Trade Union and would like to eventually see free trade with the clans as well. If the Omni's and Clan's refused to open trade with the neutral body, Ms. Dorosaua stated she wouldn’t be opposed to instituting "heavy sanctions upon the neutral goods that the clans and Omni's are purchasing freely now."

She also addressed the need for increased training and recruitment of the Newland Militia, a word she found distasteful, but for a lack of a better word, agreed to. "The Neutral community has been pushed around long enough. It is time we stood our ground. There have also been too many attacks on our bartenders and food providers." When asked how she thought Omni Tek and the Clans would take the military build up of the Neutral community, she replied, "We will defend. Never provoke."

Ms. Dorosaua openly invites the neutral citizens to contact her with any concerns regarding the neutral community and maintains if elected to the board, as the minister, she would continue her open door policy.
