In RL..

- not only do you never answer the phone when playing, you no longer even hear it.

- you spend too much time at work alt-tabbing to forums and sites.

- when telling ppl what you did at the wkend, getting too carried away and talking about people and places with strange names - and the glazed eyes don't stop you..

- when playing, sitting with legs crossed in three places for an hour before realising you need the loo.

- resenting the goldfish for needing fed.

- when new people come over, if they're not sat at the pc while you show them what 'your game is all about' and gaping in awe within 15 minutes, you want them to leave.

- people at work ask you if you've reached level 150 yet.

In game.. (cos there's signs there too )

- logging in at WA and 'commuting' to tir.

- wishing you could 'move house' to west athen because it's a nice spot away from all the hustle and bustle.

- 'working' during the week (lvling, blitzing, equiping, etc) and 'playing' at the weekend (chatting, socialising, wasting money in Miir and bars, playing hide n seek in the grid, playing tag/fill-the-ncu-with-the-most-useless-buffs-ever (credit to Fleshman for inventing that one), going for long 'drives'..)

- wanting 'alone time' (afk in a nice spot with a view) now and again.

- if standing for a while, sitting down because it's, errrr, uncomfortable to stand for a long time..


After one of my gaming stories recently, a friend at work asked me "is it getting worse?" with an expression of concern.. Sure it'll wear off in it's own good time..
