Interesting - my son is autistic (Asperger's syndrome at the milder end of the autistic spectrum leading to moderate learning difficulties) so it was tricky not to read into the questions what they were trying to score (social ability, ability with non-verbal communication, development through imaginative play, etc).

Current research indicates that autism has a genetic component - I'd be interested to see what other parents of autistic children score

Anyone else who scores highly can at least take comfort in that autistic tendencies are also associated with a high IQ! (There appears to also be a relationship between autism and intelligence).

I also tend to agree that the test seems geared towards judging social ability <which im admittedly poor at..i'm really dont like going out in public almost to the point of being agouraphobic>

its often been stated that geniuses have an extremely hard time in social settings so one could assume<just assume im not saying its true> that generally a higher iq may make it harder to be social.

i was also hoping to see what other gamers scored since as a stereotype gamers are not considered to be highly outgoing socially<cept when online

and this test isnt for actually diagnosing its just for seeing if someone exhibits traits that could be used in consideration/i think thats correct wording.

Actually doesn't mean much other than you are probably fairly sociable and extrovert

As with all psychometric tests - they don't actually mean much without taking into account a lot of other factors (personal situation, medical history, etc.) and for any reasonable accuracy they need to ask MUCH more than 50 questions. They are also extremely easy to twist simply by lying.

The only time to worry is when your employer starts (ab)using them

Ran it twice to be sure. Odd phrasing mixture of "I do..." and "I do not..." questions combined with "I agree" and "I do not agree" make for high chance of accidently clicking "I agree" etc when you meant to disagree.
