while an investagation into ross's death is going on we forgot 1 thing...last time it was omni that tryed to kill him....then he abandon his own people for almost a year...great leadership ross....

With cloaning technology they were close years ago(see animated series)...they could have made a clone of ross to stage the death.....or a cloan to make the speech that was never herd.....i think we need the DNA results from mrross's body since we have no reclaim records to match his true identity...i'm not convinced it was ross that was shot at all

Well actualy he didn't abandon his people he was recalled by Omni-Prime for review. I don't care who you are, but if you are an Omni-Tek Employee and Omni-Prime says come here, you go to them. It doesn't matter what you are doing either at the time they say come here.

But I do enjoy how everyone avoids a question that has been asked now.

Philip Ross was making a speach. He finished part of it, but was unable to give all of it.

What was the part that he did give (should be known by someone)?
What was the part that he was going to give (if it is known)?

The first question should be known by someone out there. He was giving a speach to people after all, and not just talking for fun.

To make my point(s) clear for the last time.

1. I do not think all out violence is the answer.
2. I think it is being used as an excuse to escalate Omni operations agains Clan.
3. I do not think that it was Phillip Ross that got shot, ergo excuse making.
4. If he was shot it is more likely to be a member of his own precious Omni team
that did it to uit their own ends.
5. If it comes to all out war, we (The Clans) will not be found lacking.

Precisely what I felt, with the exception of the fifth point. I severely doubt this was an official Clan operation, at least from most standpoints. Although the Vanguards might have tried to pull it off, I'd be more surprised if it weren't just an independent group trying to incite war: perhaps even for religious reasons. There are those, in fact, who believe that to create a situation in Rubi-Ka similar to that of the Shadowlands would bring a higher level of balance.

Twinkies, I personally don't care who's claiming responsibility until guilt is proven. I'm quite certain that several independent groups have already done the same just to make waves.

But this is one of those few times..
As I watch the back and forth political bs, I have to wonder...Is there someone using us (Clans, Omni, and Neturals) as pawns..Could there be a force at work that is forcing up to battle each other in this capaticy?
There are alot of facts to consider..I hate history so I am not going to even go into that.
Did anyone ever think that a clan sniper could have been hired by an unknown force to start this..

Either way, I think that before major finger pointing is done, Once a suspect is found, I would petition for the suspect to be questioned and if tried in a court of law, that a clan audicence is present. as well as netural. this is a planetwide event that has to ability to sway the planet to a war larger than we have ever seen. And even thou I understand and respect the ideals and the employment of Omni-Tech, I think that it has grown larger than that.

Karenza, some how I believe that if some one took a pop at a CoT member you would be at the fore front in crying for a war and as to the Tir Accords, let me remind you of something that has already been said:

Omni-Pol and Omni-AF forces invaded the Perpetual Wastlands to investigate a crime. Omni-Tek was in violation of Annex 2A - Military Presence and 2B - Police and Investigation.

First...Omni-Tek did not respect every aspect of the agreement or its annexes, and/or did not settle any dispute by diplomatic or peacefull means.

Second...Omni-Tek did not mutually investigate and/or prosecute any violation of the accord and it's annexes.

Third...Omni-Tek issued a military opperation within the Council allocated district.

Fourth...Omni-Tek did not try to jointly investigate any hostile action towards the legally present Omni-Tek personnel by the Council and its affiliated troops and/or by any other troops.

Fifth...Omni-Tek did not consult the Council before issueing "peacekeeping" troops.

Well, let me refresh your memory then:

Annex 1A: Territorial Division
· Omni-Tek is the superior governing body of the entirety of Rubi-Ka, but will leave to the Council to supervise the areas of Tir, Tir County, Athen, Athen Shire, Aegan, Northern Artery Valley, The Big One, Avalon, Mort, Newland, and Western Endless Plains.

· The remaining terraformed areas on the planet will remain under complete Omni-Tek control and subject to the ICC lease of 28708. - That said, then the Perpetual Wasteland did belong to Omni-Tek, not the clans.


First: And neither did the clans
Second: Again, neither did the clans
Third: Wrong, Omni-Pol and OTAF soldiers entered an area under Omni-Tek control
Fouth: They had no reason too, it concerned Omni-Tek and not the CoT
Fifth: Omni-Tek area, once again.

And if i may due note, then it was clan afflicted personnel who prevent the investigation, despite Henry Radiman had asked them not too. Just shows you how much control the CoT really had at that time.

Get your facts right before you begin to point fingers, despite me being clan, then Ross does seem like a reasonabl man to me.
