Funcom - False Allignment for agents? Is it THAT hard to do?

    I say NO!

All that has to be done, nano wise, is make it hostile and lock all
nano skills for the duration of the formula, as well as init's. Fair.

It is, after all, an RP thing more than anything, and we all know
no agent will PvP without nano skills or inits. So that leaves..

People timing it so it ends just as their "buddy" enters a pol zone
with them. Well, and I can say is this: Give it a little AOE notice
that "So-and-so has become clan". IF you're dumb enough to
follow an agent into a pol zone, then you deserve it..

Same thing as an undercover agent. You can't go into 25%, and
be undercover, without getting your butt smacked...

Finally something to FEAR in an agent. That they could come right
up to your doorstep, and be of an opposing side.

    Not hard to implement.

Oh, in regards to equipping omni-tek armor? So? It'd be a part of
RP. It's what people call.. you guessed it... undercover! =)

Nice idea... The undercover kits are not what we wanted anyway.

If the Omni-Pol equippage problem becomes too big, they can make it so that when you go False Alignment you get Visual Side: Clan or Omni, and then make requirement on Omni-Pol Side: Clan or Omni to prevent it, just like they did with nanos (Visual Profession for the ones useable in FP and just Profession on the ones agents cant use)

Also, as the nano gets higher in QL, the duration could be considerably longer. Perfect for that undercover mission you have. It could exist together with the undercover kits. If you have to go on a longer undercover mission, the undercover kits are the right tools. It changes your alignment completely, but you don't lose tokens. If you only have to do a short mission, you use a nanoprogram to make your alignment appear to be something else to other players (when you are really still Omni or Clan).

Thumbs up. Im bringing it up with the professionals

    Just got a thought.

Why can't being Omni be seen an a requirement for armor?

    i.e: If you're clan and wearing Omni-Pol, it's OE-D, automatically?
That'll fix the switching sides, and wearing omni-pol problem, too.
