You have two choices:
1)Take NODROP off of spawn camped items, like T.I.M Target
aquisitioner, and leave on UNIQUE so they can't be hoarded. After
all, the HUD actually benefits lower lv players more than higher,
where init isn't even really an issue, anymore...
(This should work fine. All Unique mob loot's are the same QL, right?)
I don't think Boss Mob items should have to be camped, and
competed for, for multiple hours of one's life. It's not right....
2)Make it easier to aquire boss mob loot. How is up to you.
Maybe you could make boss mobs have an area all to themselves,
which you have to zone into. That way you can put a 12 person
cap on each copy of the boss room, where no more than two
full teams can enter. Lower spawns above 30 minutes to 30
minutes, and take it from there. Whatever you think'd work...
Honestly, though, the UBER guilds, and people w/20 hours to burn
should not have exclusive rights to the good stuff. There isn't
nearly enough to do, for me personally. I'd actually have more
fun if I knew I could go to a dungeon and actually have a chance
at getting some good loot. But, no... I have to compete needlessly.
All I'm asking for is a chance at some good unique loot.
