eve is also skill based. But what makes eve so great is that you cant train your skills, you have to buy skill improvement packs for money. in eve, trade is the most important thing, and when you do a mission or mine, its all for a higher purpose, the metal you mine is to be used in a spacestation. Then someone need to transport it etc etc. Then we got pirates, bountyhunters, researchers, +++++++++++++
