Me and my guildie friend decided to do some pvp tests.

Me = Lvl 161 Enforcer using beam...lol
Him = Lvl 154 Fixer using surpressor and Grid Armor 4.
Selfbuffed duel.

Before 14.4 i could kill him like...so fast it made me feel bad.


Now here is what happened in 14.4

I hit him like...2 times i think during the entire duel. Maybe more.
His dmg was not that great and my mongo smash could heal me pretty good. I recasted layers pretty fast too.

BUT

I could not hit the little blue smurf!
The guy does not have any pvp experience so he did not even root me.

Still.

I COULD NOT HIT THE LITTLE BLUE SMURF!

Now i know i am not gimped. Full set ql200 imps and mk2 armor.
1k+ normal attack rating without challenger.
9.5K selfbuffed HP.

Needless to say, he owned my big fat atrox ass.

My question is this.
I knew fixers where gimped, but they are GODS now.
FFS is it fair for a lvl161 enforcer(so called FIGHTER class) to be so outclassed by a fixer at lvl 154?

Now dont get me wrong, i am happy for the little smurf.
He has been gimped for so long its sick.
But i mean, come on!

GA4 = God mode

I know casters can still kick his ass...but last i checked enforcers dont have nukes...hehe....FC give me nukes!

Just don't fight smurfs. They're small and hard to hit. And when you do hit them, they got a HoT to take care of that.

I can see Nts owning them though, which is a good thing.

They kinda made GA abit too good, but fixers needed love badly and I'm just happy for the blue smurfs.

It is about time they get some love.

Me hitting the fixers like 2+ times during the duel?

Besides i am so tired with FC changing the rules all the time.
I just hope Enforcers get some love too, soon...

Like for example.

Let mongo line heal for the duration and not only 10 hits or so.
Maybe increase its healing too.

Challenger should not lock our nano skills for 2min.
It should also add a crit modifier.
Then it will be worth casting.
As it looks today, its not worth it.

I dont know..something , anything to BALANCE us.
All the other classes get love, enforces have not got anything new since the start.

Wow someone posted about us in the pvp boards in a YEAR SPAN OF THE GAME EXISTANCE. I guess we are getting nerfed now and my 100 million credit nano will just be pvm crap again

Look, i know very well how fixers have had it.

The guy i dueled is one of my best friends in AO.
So trust me, i know.

What i am saying is....

I am lvl 161 and he is lvl 154.
I cant hit him.
Fair? I think not.

My hope is, for enforcers to get some serious love from FC and soon.

You don't need god mode to be good.. Missing 1/2 hits, 3/4 hits or whatever, that would have worked. Missing 10/10 is way over powered.

Yeah I mean, GA4 is supposed to be good. They drop in team missions now tho, so it's just a matter of time before every fixer over lvl150 will use em. =p

A lil adjust might be in order. Evades + ALOT of other stuff like NR etc got boosted or something in this patch. I think it was unintended to say at best.

All the high level PvPing Fixers have it already, but of course it's not that many high level Fixers out there...

i do not want fixers to be nerfed - give it a little time and tell me wether they are as overpowered as you say since i have some trouble believing that.

i rather think that the fixer would fare well against a melee class now and i guess that was intentionally. what will happen against a ranged or root capable class is what interests me more.

when i read that traders and doctors run from fixers then i will reconsider but not before

Thats pretty balanced, Enforcers dont need PvP loving.


Each class should have a certain advantage over another class and a disadvatage to others.

Fixers now evade most melee and ranged hits... let the NTs pick'em off ;-P

As has been pointed out by every class when we where complaining about the drop rate on Grid armour, its supposed to be the best item in the game, and is supposed to be rare. So now us fixers get to say it back hehe . Yes it is good, however not every fixer has it, and of those who do, not everyone has the mk they should be using. And again as has been pointed out, its is not part of our class balance, it is a special item, so our class should be able to take on other classes with a chance of winning, without it
