a humming noise can be heard as billboards around Borealis suddenly go blank then come back with a new display

    Attention Citizens..

Some of you know me many don't. My Name is Ironox and many a moon ago Omni-Tek sought to take my life and my shows away from the people of this planet we call home.

I escaped with my life but they were able to shut down my Tv Program.

    No more!

Citizens of Rubi-Ka I am pleased to announce that one week from today I will start rebroadcasting the hit show Cooking with Iron!

And for my first show I am dedicating it to Nuser of the Nanomage Liberation Front who not only helped me gain a new studio but also gave me the idea, and the parts, for what to cook.. So listeners next weeks show will be...

    Beast Tail alla Vaccinara!

This is your host Ironox saying good food, good fights, good night

@#$.. fix the ... nal NOW!

    *picture clears up*

Hello Rubi-Ka! Chef Ironox coming to you live from our new studios in Borealis Backyard 4!

I would like to thank all the loyal listeners for sticking with me and helping me out when I was down, the Nanomage Liberation Front for bringing me home and loaning me this studio, Assembly for the hack codes I had hacked from you.. *grins*, Berael and her group for the uplink dish and Gridstream Productions for spinning the funky tunes.

Tonights special is thanks to my very own Queen Nuser who was kind enough to bring me some Beasttail! I tried to convince her to come on air with me but currently she is in the filed on maneuvers.

Ok folks lets get this fire started!

*cam zooms back so you see a clean gleaming kitchen*

You will need the following most of which can be found in my stores... well store Cooking With Iron!:

*a list begins to slowly scroll up the sceen as Iron reads them off*

    2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

    1 carrot, finely chopped

    1 onion, finely chopped

    1 stalk celery, finely chopped

    2 garlic cloves, minced

    2 bay leaves

4 pounds Beasttail, cut into 12 pieces

Salt and fresh ground black pepper

    1 glass dry white wine

    1 tablespoon bitter cocoa powder

    8 cups unsalted vegetable stock

    1 pound peeled tomatoes, chopped

and for the garnish you will need:

    3 cups water

    4 carrots

    6 stalks celery

    Salt and pepper

    1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

16 small basil leaves, finely chopped

While I am getting everything ready here is a word from a sponsor!

    Bored? Nothing to do?

Ok now before we start of we need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

*flicks on the oven and grabs up a pan*

In a saute pan, add the olive oil, carrot, onion, and celery with minced garlic and bay leaves.

*sizzling and poping comes from the pan*

We want to heat mixture until the vegetables start to sweat.

*the camera angle moves so your looking down at the pan and work area*

Sprinkle Beasttails with salt and pepper and add to the vegetable mixture.

Add the wine and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until the wine evaporates.

While we are waiting for it to cook down here is another message from a sponsor..

    Hello fellow neutrals

Are you lost in the world of war that happens daily between the Clans and Omni-Tek?

Are you just wanting to be free of the petty squabbles and yet be ready in a moments notice?

Then visit us at our gridfeed Wolf Brigade and let us show you how freedom really is ment to be.

*camera flicks back to Iron and the work area*

Ok now that the wine is cooked down we add the cocoa and vegetable stock and transfer the mixture to a heatproof casserole.

Cover the casserole and bake in the oven slowly for 2 hours.

*pops the dish into the oven and pulls another out*

Now while it's cooking you need to Check whether there is too much stock remaining and if so, turn up heat until excess stock evaporates. Add the tomatoes and cook for 40 minutes with cover on. Check and stir occasionally.

    *words roll up the screen*

To make the garnish: Place the water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Clean and cut the carrots and celery into 1/4-inch julienne sticks. Salt the water and cook the celery and carrot sticks together al dente, about 2 minutes. Drain. Saute the vegetables with extra- virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Remove pieces of Beasttail from the casserole, and put them in a warming dish. Take the sauce that is left in the casserole dish and pass it through a blender.

*again words roll up the screen*

To serve: place the Beasttail pieces on plates and cover generously with the sauce. On the top, place the carrots and celery garnish, and decorate with the chopped basil leaves.

*you see the final dish set out on a kitchen table*

Well folks that is it for tonight..

Stay tuned for soon I will have another show for you that we will be trying to take on the road.

Bronto prime rib is always fun to make since you have to find a big enough place to cook it, considering the rib cage of the bronto is huge beyond the eating capacity of most human breeds.
