Exclamation i dont know if this should go here or not but.....

    ahem

WHY DO MOBS PARRY BULLETS AND ENERGY BEAMS!
i mean COME ON, there not super humans or anything!
parry is a melee to melee only skill, the description says melee to melee and its in melee.

so why cant i parry bullets and energy beams with my guns to?
    im realy curious about this.

    actually theres more to it

You should NOT be able to parry a melee weapon while weilding a gun (unless you like broken barrels)

Parry should be strictly melee vs melee (and also the ability parry arrows but fairly rarely)

Every time i see a soldier mob parry me i loose a peice of sanity

Please fix parry so its melee vs melee only!!!

This situation also exists for players.

Kinda funny to see that I just parried a energy beam from a probe with my MTI xp guns.

You do know all the evade skills, come up in chat as a 'parry', don't you. So if they had high dodge range, and they dodged the bullet it would come out in chat as 'parry'. At least, that is the only thing I have ever seen them say decides the new 'miss' messages.
