    Anyway, here's what happened:

    I had default everything. Installed Chiv's skin, opened it as the skin in the settings bit, everything worked fine. You told me to try your skin, so I did. UIninstalled Chiv's, installed yours, went through the settings and selected to use your files, everything worked fine, except the skills and info windows, which appear as shown. I'm pretty sure that the graphics for them are taken from GUIGFX.UVGA or whatever, eh?

    Dunno, I'm just confused now. :-)

    Oh, and one suggestion I have for your skin: A feature I really liked in Chiv's skin is that the HP/nano bar bubble at the top and bottom were removed so it more accurately reports health.
    Yes, looks like it's not finding those gfx in your selected skin file and is defaulting back to the original skin file...

    And the hp/np thing should be fixed shortly anyway...

    Humm, not sure if its a problem with ym skin or whether you might be missing a defualt file in your AO folder.

    Nobody else has complained about this (but then I suppose I havent been given feedback on version 1.1)

    Ill re-compile the skin the the skills/info window graphics in.

    I had this occur to me as well Internalfire, but I thought it was intended because of the size of the graphics file. To get around it I used the files from your first release, which makes my perk button blank, but as I knew it was the perk button i did not mind.

    Umm, Jim, looks like you are missing the minitoolbaradd.xml file from your 2.3 update. If this is on purpose, your installation instructions should indicate that 15, not 16 files will go into the ActionMenu folder.

    I just updated chivskinAI for use with patch 15.6.6. I also removed the nasty remaining red/blue pixel in teamwindow.

    Small update done

    v 2.0.2b - BETA
    --------------
    -Added some missing graphics files.
    -Removed the "fadeout X" due to some unexplaied change done to the GUI. Will investigate this further.
    -Changed the mission waypoint indicator to original one
    -Changed the Mini bars possition

    Kurt, what have you done to the quickbar fadeout btw. I get very strange behaviour from it when trying to use graphics there. The red "X" gets blacked out. Havent had time to look in to it too much though so I dont know if there is some workaround for it.

    I kinda like the black X instead of the red X though :P
    While untintended its a nice effect imho

    Hmm... I can't think of any changes regarding fading actually. What are you trying to achive, and how (i.e. what is the "fadeout X", how is it defined, and what is it doing)? And when saying "quickbar" do you referre to the shortcut bar that you can drop items onto, or the static "minitoolbar" above the righthand "rollup area"? Or something else?

    And can we please get the old mission slider and options slider graphics back (they are still in the gfx file)? Using the agg/def slider graphic for all three things might be fine for the default skin but is a pain for reskinning...

    Ahh... I see. Yes the code is now coloring it black so you are kinda stuck. I will try to find some time to make the default bitmap black instead of altering the color in code.

    Duplicating the gfx hurt performance and increase code complexity so I will try to avoid that when it is not needed. What I hope to do though, is making the gfx definable in XML so you can define alternative graphics for the various components. Not sure if time will permit this though.

    That'd be great Kurt... less hard-coding, more flexibility please (That hard-coded blue "wash" is another one it'd be nice to have the option of changing...)

    As to the sliders, I'd settle for mission and options using one graphic and agg/def using another, as it's kinda the odd-man out in terms of it's settings (12.5% divisions rather than 10% for missions).

    Haha did you? Its a great visual indicator, was kinda sad to remove it...I'll see if I can make some thing else that looks a little better though and hope Kurt changes the way the greyout effect works

    Im the weird one in this coocoo house

    Honestly, the black X looks better and in a way actually stands out better without being "intrusive" for the lack of a better word than the red X. However, it is an annoyance on transparent icons with little bright areas, like the new fixer cluster bullets etc as it wont stand out at all :\
