Umm Glarawyn, Everyone on Rubi-Ka lives in an apartment building. Its public housing provided by our respective factions. Unless you happen to be someone important, which neither you or I are, we live in apartments. You might have yourself a Jobe Luxury Apartment, but there are thousands of those as well. So I dont see how you can say that it would be any different if an Omni person had their own address, we all live similar lifestyles on this planet.

I'm sure the clans have nothing to fear. I'm sure the Clans will also be able to purchase lands, depending upon how large their monentary contribution to Omni-Tek is.

The way i understand it, and this is just a semi-educated guess mind you, i could very well be wrong, the major part of the land sell Credits will go to ICC as being the "owners" of Rubi-Ka. That means that when you purchase a strip of land when this opens, it will legaly be yours and all registerd with the ICC, end of story.

What is think is far more telling is how many OT people around here resort to the "dirty Clammers" and the "get over it will you? it was XXX years ago". That number changes more often than Tristalyn's unlisted com service address. Or how about we in the Clan not having "uptown" addresses. Or perhaps something about sticking us all in Wailing Wastes.

It seems to me that you all live more in the past than we do. Clanners aren't dirty. Perhaps in the days of the rebellion when basic amenities were denied us because of existing conditions or loss of services. Perhaps that was true of then. We're quite sophisticated now. We even have running water (GASP). But then again, I look at Clan cities. Some need a make-over. No question. Then I look at Omni-Entertainment. Your sewers are STILL toxic after...how long has it been? I forget. You people probably glow in the dark when the lights get turned off. Probably convenient for you when you want to make the beast with two backs, but no amount of scrubbing is going to wash that toxic sludge from your bodies after this long of being exposed to it. Oh, I could go on about the other things, but let's just say you all have the same old schtick you always have. Decisions involving both Mr. Ross and the ICC usually led to a further deterioration of the stability of this planet. Most of us still recall the decision to open up Notum mining less than two years ago and the troubles it brought - and still brings.

We will see how this will affect Rubi-Ka but thus far, my fears outweight my hopes.

Mr. Ross has always steered the corporation in the right direction. Instead of bothing ourselves with land auctions, I would focus on the extermination of the clans. If there is one thing a clanner is good for, it's whining and crying over their unwillingness to shed a single drop of sweat and/or blood for a just cause. It makes my knees weak with disgust every time I hear one of their pitiful excuses.

Last night some Unicorn Company soldiers were escorting a neutral reporter to get neutral opinions on Mr. Ross. Kinda makes you wonder why the UC grunts didn't have anything better to do that babysit a reporter.......or perhpas there is more to this chaporoning than is known publicly?

Well, to hop in here a moment, I was there when the Omnis/UC escorting the Neut reporter called Ross, "incompetent". I cant remember her name but she was head of the newly formed "health and welfare"(I am probably completely wrong on the name) division of OTRK.

It might seem to be a wonderful portent for those of us that wish to see the back of OT broken and driven back into the cave which spawned it. No question, for those of us intent on revenge and retribution, that this is a very good development.

Except for one problem, I think. Most likely it is SBC that bankrolls the Dust Brigade (at least that's my theory) or perhaps even the ICC itself. The way it goes now, all of the Omni's believe the DB is a Clan hit squad, and it makes OT look bad to say such things. It further complicates matters to continue that line now that it's out there, because no matter how many times they hit Clan sites, the viewpoint is still there. What happens once the SBC (or whoever else is really behind these galactic schweinhunds) actually gains a foothold on this planet? I doubt it is any good for any of us.

Perhaps we in Clan don't think very highly of OTRK. I certainly don't. But, as the saying goes, better the devil you know than the devil you do not know.

I think this is a very ominous development for all of the citizens of Rubi-Ka. Something wicked this way comes, indeed.
