In these times we all live under the shadow of violence and conflict. These are also the times in which greatness is born. It is a sad state when there is so much blind hatred running rampant. Very few are able to see the person behind his/her faction's label. War is only the last resort in a conflict, yet so many are jumping to it as the first step. Umbra Sancorum believes freedom should be for everyone, not the few left alive. It is all too easy to seek glory in battle, often for yourself and not for others. Our means is to resolve the conflict through every peaceful channel available,and to create new channels as necessary. Compromise is the truly difficult path, not war. Battle is only to be used in cases of self-defense and more importantly in defending the innocent and helpless. These are the only cases in which we will currently fight.
