    A Plea To The Good People Of RK2

    Gentle citizens of Rubi-ka, Dimension 2,

    There are many, many things that probably could be listed as 'broken' in AO, but I am addressing poor customer service issues with this post.

    recently with our latest patch, I had an unfortunate incident with my main character and she is now in a world of hurt. This was caused by bugs in game, and who else knows what else. Basically the petitions of my orgnization and myself were ignored. My character will sit as she is until tech support issues an answer.

    tech support is not answering any email it would seem.

    /b This post is to show some outrage for a good an decent person who worked very hard to earn the credits for a Yalmaha and who lost that Yalmaha as if it were a ghost.

    And so here is the plea to the inhabitants of Rubi-ka 2..../b

    Something stinks in Rubi-ka and it's not the synthetic cheese.

    Tonight one of my dear friends lost her very hard earned Yalmaha due to some bizarre bug and was told by an ARK nothing could be done, 'but please enjoy your stay on Rubi-ka'.

    This is a typical answer to just about any problem.

    5 Million Credits, a level 64 character, a Yalmaha, a piece of armor or weapon that went Poof!. What are these things? What does it mean to work hard and then lose it all and have some snide ARK tell you thanks for footing Funcom's bills but don't let the door hit you on the way out.

    I think we all understand frustration, but do we seriously need to pay for it in a game?

    I am upset for my friend, I am upset for all the other people who are being treated the same and I am sorry that I can't get my character back to what she was.

    I urge people to act now! Don't sit around and wait for this to happen to you or a friend or Org Mate. Do something!

    If you think it won't happen to you, think again.

    My Organization is considering a 'Cancel Out', a mass cancellation in response to this rampant problem of pathetic customer service from gaming companies in general, Funcom specifically.

    Like many, we're relatively new to AO and are simply trying to help each other out.

    Funcom is like most businesses. They do not understand angry email or rants on some forum. They only understand subscriptions or lack of them. One person may not make a difference, but a whole bunch sure can!

    Please...

    Stand up for whats right and take a stand against this kind of treatment. All anyone of us wishes is to have our problems listened to and considered seriously, not tossed aside and told to go away.

    Oh..

    And the very person who I speak of in the above post, has a post of her own on this board, titled 'Thank you ARKs at the VB Base', further down, this page.

    Utterly shameful she should be eluded to as an exploiter or cheater....
