Bump for entertainment patch!!!!

The best part of AO is frankly the social areas outside combat. The clothes, apartments, resorts, pool, dance clubs, bars, coffe shops ect. all add to make AO the hands down winner for social oppurtunites.But with competition on the horizons, its time to fix the numerous bugs and problems plauging the entertainment portion of the game.
So here it is , proposed changes in an "entertaiment" patch, that fixes other stuff but focueses on entertainment .

Changes in V.---

Entertainment venues-
-All the unopened clubs in Omni-entertainment including Heads and Tails and the Pleasure Dome are now open. Enjoy!!

-Fixed several Bugs with the Enjoy It while it last nightclub in Tir. We have rearraged the corridors to make it more acessible. We had added a bar and opened up the dance floor.

-You can now go up the Lush Hills resorts diving platform. We have also added a changing room, waterslide, a cabana, pool attendants and pool chairs. We have moved save,reclain and mission terminals back so it gives it more a resort feel.

-The clans have opened a Spa in Tir county near Lavadippers retreat.

-Added a working casino in neutral territory. Games include slots, craps, blackjack, roulette, multiplayer poker and wheel of fortune. In order to gamble, you exchange a certain number of credits for casino tokens that can only be used at games and are no-drop(to prevent cheating). By winning games you get more tokens which are redeemable for weapons, vehicles, armor and hard-to-find nanos. The more tokens you have, the better stuff you can trade for.

-we have added several new tracks to be played at clubs, listen for them!

The non-vendor npcs at clubs are now more interactable. This is in the same vein of talking to NPC guards.

Apartments:
-We have increased the number of items that can be stored in an apartment to 40 and have added several pieces of funcional furniture.

-You can now buy new layouts for you apartments at special consoles.

-If you switch sides, your apartment will reset so you can choose a new one.

Clothing:
-Social clothes can now be worn over non-armor clothing. However, you must not be wearing any piece of armor when its on.

-added several new types of clothing including breed specific wear.

-Introducing the birthday suit. It goes in your hud slot and makes it so that the base layer looks like your nude. Its works for all non-atrox and you can toggle off who you don't want to see(males or female only, no Nanos ect.). Parents can lock this feature with a passcode. It only works, however, in bathrooms, apartments, pleasure dome, heads and tails, Changing rooms and at the Lavadippers spa.
Misc changes:

-coffee makers now work!

- added dual ride vehicles. These work by the driver pulling up to rider, targeting them and typing /ride. A pop-up box will apear, if yes the rider will get into car and ride along. At anytime the rider wants out out of the car, the rider or the driver types /getout and the rider will pop-up next to the vehicle. If the driver goes LD the ride ends. If the rider goes LD he gets out as well but pops where the car was before he got out on the ground.

-added dual emotes. These are emotes that when done together allow 2 players to "kiss" each other, ect.

I agree that socializing is the best part of AO. Here are a few more ideas:

New dance moves- make sure to include in the robot

Dance room rentals- They should expand some of the dance clubs so that they could have several private rooms that could be rented by groups. You could do it just like mission keys and allow they person who rented it to make copies for others. This would let organizations talk with out being interupted

Working Jukeboxes in all bars/ clubs that would have a bunch of songs that could be chosen.

Funny noises- I would like to hear my charachter- not just see him emote. You could have things like laugh, cry, burp, fart (well that might be going a little far, but they already have mooning )

Yes, AO is completely a socializing game, if they implimented all this things would be SO MUCH BETTER!

1. People can come into your apt.
2. Weddings should be able to be totally ingame, hassle free just a terminal with sheets of paper, hey, it happens in vegas.
3. open all those bars in 4h0

5. a food meter, you preform better when your food meter is fill.
6. allow players to acess the world chat channels, not just for party listings, but if theres a PvP battle, omni should know.
7. jobs at bars (same patch as joining NPC orgs, omni-pol and such)

Nope sorry cant have that, if people and vehicles were solid then nasty, evil, fat people could block paths etc. I would realy like to see collision detection for furniture in apartments though.

Yea you dont want people not being able to get around others, this would Turn into CounterStrike where people block team mates just so they can die. Especially in a mission. Blocking the 1 and only door.. ouch.

We need more Social clothes! And apparently earlier patches you could wear Social clothes with armor. Like say a Bikini, and wear pants over it. So only the top part is showing. Now that would be cool! Plus the white bikini.. thats a bottom only, are they ever gonna make a top for it?

There could be a sort of script/macro like the /assist type, for "dual movements". Like, two chars decide to dance, they can type the (let's say) /together command, and then until they cancel it, your char would "mirror" the targeted char's movements/would execute other emotes in harmony with the targeted char. Or something like this. Or anything else that wouldn't need the two players to type /kiss or /dance with chronometer in hand only to be sure they type it at the very same moment.

Another thought... Hi-fi devices that really play music? By right-clicking on the said item you could choose between a certain number of the game's music... or why not, some musics done especially for this? And then listen to them n your apartment.

Umm, and chars should be able to really sit/ on chairs and lay on the ground. So that we could sunbathe on Newland's beaches in our pretty new bikinis.
