Lightbulb Anarchism.. really a solution? (Read Carefully)

Im new to the world of Rubi-Ka, but it seems that Clan is fighting Omni-Tek becasue of the injustice? What injustice? Ask yourself.. once clan has defeted *if* Omni-tek, what will happen? Clan take controll? that does not sound very Anarchist. Clan is fighting omni-tek WITH the very same system omni tek is using against them. what will happen after the war, will clan spread out across the world and colonize? will there be disorder or will everyone respect each other enough not to destroy themselves? Anarchism is a good thought, but will never work, that is why Clan is fighting a hopeless battle. (neutral will survive by watching Omni and Clan destroy each other, just my thoughts)

If omni-tek rk is defeated from this system then the clans will surly soon be facing the entire military arm of omni-tek. Be sure of that. And we are talking about millions of soldiers and war ships. And what will stop sol banking from nuking the clanners?

As far as i see then the clans dont stand a chance alone. Either they will have the limitations they got now. Or they will be whipped out by Sol Banking or others.

As for the neutrals, no, they will be remvoed as well.

Clan victory = destruction of Rubi Ka

If OT were driven off-world entirely, the end result would not be pretty. There are more than enough interests out there (including the rest of Omni-Tek) to cause some considerable havoc. Firstly, the main reason many clans do not turn on each other is because of a common enemy. Remove that enemy, and you suddenly have some rather extremely different groups all vieing for 'their way' on Rubi-Ka.

Add to this the backing of various other hypercorps, and the warzone would simply just continue.

    *OOC* *OOC* *OOC* *OOC*

Omni-Tek are an oppressive organisation, and capitulating to OT would result in the same situation as 2000 years ago - horrendous working conditions, poor employee safety, etc.
The only real way to a victory would be to convince Omni-Tek that it is in their best interests to let Rubi-Ka be self governed while maintaining their mineral interests. That way you get a planet of your own, and Omni-Tek military assets to protect it from other predators.

But that's asking for the moon on a stick, since most clans wouldn't want to trust OT with anything, and most OT wouldn't want to relinquish control.

The Diplomatic Assembly is a macro organization with member orgs from Clan, Omni, Neutral that share the common belief that it is possible for the three sides to co-exist without resorting to annhilating each other. So don't give up hope just yet.
