A Nice org for Nice people

I play this game since October 2001,
often thought about leaving, i just miss something...
I still hope, i find enough people, who understand me,
to build a new org together or if such org already exists, i would join.

These people should be:

Rather courteous then uncouth

Sure you can taunt someone friendly,
but only if he/she don't feel uncomfortable about it,
intuition is very important in this case...
( the "victim" is always right )

Never use "u", "plz", d00d, or something like this.
No l33t speak accepted.

Respect RP:
1) If you answer/reffer to something that was said in RP mode -
try to answer in RP mode too;
if you are lousy RPer ( like me ), sometimes have no idea what to answer,
try to answer anyhow so, at least you don't kill RP completely.
2) You should neither ask nor talk about someone's "real" gender,
in game the real is what you see, it should be enough.

Always think first "what can i offer?" before begging for something.

I have only an Omni 100+ char,
my highest Clan char is only lvl 14, but if there would be not enough ppl.
for Omni org, i would play for a while this low level char first,
if i can help the org ...

I can only think you have been desperately unlucky. There are a lot of articulate, well mannered and essential sane people on Rubi-Ka. You should not let a minority of yobs ruin the experience for you.

Anyway, you are wlecome to check out our organisation, the South Rubi-Ka Society. We are a roleplaying guild, so respect for RP is implicit. And as in game the org is modelled on a gentleman's club, courtesy and respect are paramount. I cannot be 100% certain no one has ever drifted in l33t speak at one point or another, but I can assure you there is no l33t attitude.

Well... i must admit, i probably too burned out for hard core RP,
what i mean with RP comes down mostly again to the last line
"Have appreciation for respect and fairness",
simply because AO is MOORPG,
i think in some games the one who "kills" RP would be just booted
out of the RP server
But obligatory should be just at least to do so,
like you are actually living on Rubi-Ka, Rubi-Ka is your home:
"...this far and no farther... Rubi-Ka",
i would dare even to say "actully to feel so", at least a bit,
not just doing so, live on Rubi-Ka.
Sometimes i roleplay just with myself,
while i'm sure no one would break my dream...

I dont know is he aggro usually or not, frankly i dont care,
these cats are looking just great, Night Predator was green to me,
and he did not aggro, does not matter how close i was to him;
may be it was a stange side effect of QW, who cares...
Anyhow i was directly in front of him, he did not moved,
it lasted may be 5 min.
Then a grey group on the way from eye back to 20k just killed him,
even did not bothered to loot...

Would it be 0% gas, i'm not sure what would i do
( I'm not saying i ally with every panther on Rubi-Ka,
i just felt so for this one, dont know why, number of factors i guess... )

What i'm trying to say is - i dont think i have energy to take part in RP
on regular basis, i just try not to screw other ppl's RP,
even "play the ball back" if it don't require to much energy ( = require, how i feel )

I also feel the RP too "artificial", no feeling behind,
i'm feeling even more tired, burned out then...
I rather enjoy something spontaneous, based on "just a feeling",
then well calculated...

What should be not accepted is something like this:
as an answer to a long well thought RP greetings ( even if macro, who cares )

imo, by the second time it happens the only reaction should be like
"who is it? what is he doing here?" /org kick
If you have no idea what to answer in RP mode,
a simple "hi!" would be OK ( imo )

The org i thought about was rather open for everyone,
even "lone wolves", because even these want to do a mission with team sometimes,
and such guild would be very useful to find team mates,
who he could trust, and who would be pleasure to hunt/mission with.

I'm not saying SRS is not for me, i'm just not sure yet...
( especially about how much can i offer, it looks like
you are asked to take part in RP ( take part on events etc. ) being in RP guild )

Asked to roleplay, yes, pressurised into roleplaying, never. We are a very laid back bunch. We don't force anyone to roleplay or take part in events and we certainly have no roleplaying police running around beating our members into shape.

But it ought to be said that roleplaying is the only thing we are any good at, and even that is open to debate. There are plenty of other guilds who are larger and way better at organising hunts or securing equipment for their members than us. The Society can be a good home if what you are want the most is an environment that helps you connect with your character and with the setting.

If that sort of thing appeals to you, by all means give me a tell. Alternatively, for a friendly, more well-rounded org, you could try speaking with Omni-Executives for instance.

Sorry that i did not answered Savoy,
i just was not sure what to say,
but since i post again in this thread i have to :
SRS: since i'm not very good at RP, i dont think i would feel comfortable in a guild with too much RP;
sure no one would push me into,
but on my own i would at least try to be good at it,
and it probably would not do good to me
( takes too much energy i even dont have for RL ...
if you know what a.s.h. newsgroup is... )
OE: i can not say i'm too proud to be OT,
i have as much respect for Clans as for the Corporation
( and sure Neutrals too )
