    Post A simple message

A crumpled piece of paper is blown about the streets of Borealis. Upon closer inspection it appears to a section torn off from a larger document. On it, a short passage of text.

    It simply reads...

............do not support the millitant Clans. By the Clan's own ideals, Omni-Tek and her employees have the right, no the freedom to choose. Some citizens of Rubi-Ka chose Omni-Tek. A bit of freedom for security and purpose for a greater cause, a fair exchange.............

Blackpetal sees the note fluttering through the air as she passes through Borealis. Snatching it quickly, she smooths the note, reads it, and nods in silent agreement. After a moments pause, she releases the crumpled paper back onto its random journey.

As she walks on she thinks, Freedom to choose. Free will. No more precious gift has been given us by our Creator. How sad that most of the citizens of Omni-Tek lack the information they need to make an INFORMED choice...

Petal continues her walk in a more somber and meditative mood.

Simon presses his body into the shadows of a tall highrise in Omni-Trade, as a squad of Omni-Pol Troopers marches by, only feet away. It is a dysmal night, rain pattering down on the shady alleys.

He feels uncomfortable in his outfit. Dressed in civilians clothes, he pulls his black leather trenchcoat tight.

"What the hell did I think when I took this mission?", he mumbles to himself. The Council of Truth is reopening and word has been sent out to all the Clan leaders to declare their affiliation. It will be a good thing to finally be able to sit down and talk matters through again. The last one and a half years haven't been easy for the Clans.

He opens his dufflebag and silently pulls out a small stack of leaflets. He presses two of them against the wet wall of the building, where they stick.

The rest, he simply places on the steps of the entrance, watching, as the wind carries them away.

Remaining in the shadows, Simon silently makes his way back to the cul-de-sac where his yalmaha sits under a grey tarpaulin, looking for the world like just another part of the debris littering the alleys. He slips inside, relieved to be in the dry once more and nervously punches the activator sequence.

Only as the lights of Omni-Trade start fading away in the gloom, he relaxes. He once more slipped past the surveillance nets of the corporations city.

A boot presses down on a scrap of paper in the streets of Borealis. Slowly, Craddock reaches down to pick up the paper he had trapped with his armored foot. Unfolding it, he scans the remaining words of the message and nods in silent agreement.

Indeed, the citizens of Omni-Tek are given all that they need, Craddock thinks to himself. Freedom, security, and purpose. And it is because of these things that we will put down the rebels, and make them pay for their wicked deeds against the Corporation.

Craddock releases the paper to the wind and continues walking down the main street of Borealis, not giving the scrap of paper a second thought.

Director Moscardelli sees a small piece of paper fly onto the windsheild of her Adaga.

Bah...litter, litter everywhere. Someone needs to clean up after themselves.

The Director trys to read the annoying paper sitting on the windsheild.

Bah...is that the flyer I gave Nevver to put up...

The piece of paper was crumpled up, rolling along the ground outside of a Yalmaha dealership in Omni-1 Trade. Teresah Rouse kicked it absently as she walked away. It was getting late; she was on her way to the Entertainment district to enjoy a few glasses of beer and some good music.

As she reached the Whompas in the center of Omni-1 Trade, she moticed a few more errant pieces of paper floating around. Teresah cursed. Where the heck are those bloody trash collector bots when ya need them? She grabbed a couple of them to throw away herself, but she stopped a second to read what was written on them.

The woman also known as Advyinc simply frowned and tossed the papers into the nearest trash bin. Someone was distributing Clanner propaganda... again. When will they stop? she wondered absently. Maybe when we finally reclaim the rest of the terraformed lands they will give up. Or will we have to eradicate them?

Teresah sighed. It isn't up to me. I just do what I'm told. After all, that's what a person who is part of something does... he does what his higher-ups tell him. As she turned back towards the Whompas, another thought fired across her mind: But doesn't that make me as blind as the Clanners?

The Whompa doors opened, and Advyinc stepped through the passage to Omni-1 Entertainment. She shrugged off the debate in her mind; the clubs awaited her. Besides, the regulars always loved to see her dance...
    Yep. I'm back.
