Well I was reading the IGN info about the AO Expansion pack and I managed to hit a connection. I remember an NPC in Omni-Trade talking about a Unicorn Company mothership leaving Omni-Prime. Well then I hear about a "Onitek Unicorn Brigade" mob from the expansion. Well well, so the Corperate wars aren't quite as over as most had thought. Gotta love the lust for Notum.

Actually, the way it was explained to me in the interview was that Unicorn is an elite division of Omni-Tek Inc.
Basically, what we think of as "Omni-Tek" is just the Rubi-Ka branch of Omni. Unicorn is a branch of the central company itself...
So, think of it as perhaps the Omni-Pol Elite of the universal Omni-Tek Corp. =)
