Solution in the Karill-case after meeting with the involved parties

In the past week Mayhem have got a lot of criticism from other guilds and individuals on Rubi-Ka for being an organization where the members are killing each other and behaving badly. The reason for this is a post on the PvP forums that was originally made by former member Karill after he quit the guild.

In the thread he accused one Mayhem-member for killing him, and another one for trying to. This was immediately followed by lots of accusations against Mayhem, some especially directed at the leaders for not getting rid of members like these. All of this took us by surprise as we simply did not know about it.

The last week internal affairs officer Beartwo has been investigating the case, and in a meeting today with Karill and Drkinky (one of the accused members) we finally got everything cleaned up. After both parties had explained themselves, they agreed that it was an accident in the field, and Karill accepted Drkinky's sincere apology.

As to why he had gone public with this without telling the leaders of Mayhem about it first, Karill replied that it was in a moment of anger, and he apologized to Mayhem for this. The thread was then deleted.

In agreement with Karill, Drkinky was not punished for this, but given a warning. Still, the case of Biohover killing Karill's alt remains, but Karill has told his side of the story, and Mayhem will confront Biohover with this later as he is not available at the moment.

Personally I am glad that this case is finally out of the world, and Mayhem can continue their work on building the quite fresh organization. There are no hard feelings between us and Karill, and the case is closed.

As a final reply to many of the critics the last week, Mayhem does NOT allow members killing other members, and this is a kickable offense in the guild.
